Silas
Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing your heart so honestly. We have heard your cry for healing and we are praying with you in the name of Jesus.
It is hard to be so ill for so long, to worry about your eyes and the effects of diabetes on your vision, to feel pain and numbness in your toes, and to wait for test results on lumps while fearing what they might show. God sees all of this and He cares deeply about your suffering.
Scripture reveals the Lord as the One who becomes what we need. When you need healing, He is the Lord who heals. A large part of the earthly ministry of Jesus was touching and healing those who were sick and afflicted, and He is the same today. He is able to heal in an instant, and He is also able to heal gradually through the healing processes He has built into our bodies. Every true healing is from Him, whether it comes suddenly or step by step, and we can thank Him for His work in either way. There is a case in the Gospels where Jesus laid His hands on a blind man a second time before his vision became completely clear, which reminds us that God does not always work in the same way or at the same speed, but He does work.
In your fear and waiting, hear what God so often says to His people, fear not. The Lord says, fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed for I am your God, I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with the right hand of my power. You are not alone in this. He is your shield and your strength right now.
We are praying for you specifically, that Jesus would touch your eyes and restore your vision, that He would ease the neuropathy and pain in your toes, and that He would bring healing to your whole body from the effects of diabetes and illness. We are asking the Lord that when the test results come back, they would show no cancer, and that what has caused the lumps and pain would be something treatable and not life threatening. We pray for peace for your heart while you wait, and for wisdom for the doctors who are caring for you.
May you continue to look to Jesus alone for salvation and for healing, trusting in His great goodness which He has stored up for those who fear Him. He knows your need and He is able to meet it.
Father, in the name of Jesus we lift up this dear one to You. You know the struggle with vision, the concern over diabetes, the pain in the toes, and the anxiety over these lumps and tests. Touch with Your healing hand, bring restoration to the eyes and nerves, and let the reports show no cancer. Give comfort, strength, and a calm assurance that You are present and at work. We trust You as our healer and our hope. Amen.
