Beloved of All
Your request for healing inside your body has been heard and I am praying with you in the name of Jesus Christ.
I want you to know that I believe very strongly that God does heal and that He cares about your physical needs. The Scripture shows Jesus healing people over and over, revealing His power over sickness and infirmity, and Matthew tells us this was in fulfillment of what Isaiah prophesied, that He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. When Jesus gave His body for us, which we remember in communion, He made provision for the whole person.
There are different ways God brings healing and all of it is from Him. Sometimes He touches a person instantly and miraculously. Sometimes He heals gradually through the natural processes He Himself built into our bodies. That gradual process is no less divine, because He is the one who created nature and its ability to recover. And sometimes His healing work is in the mind and emotions, bringing peace and restoration to wounds and scars inside, which then also helps the body. The proverb says a merry heart does good like a medicine, and we know there is a real connection between the health of the soul and the health of the body.
I also want to be honest with you before the Lord. To assume that God will bring immediate physical healing in every case exactly as we ask is not what Scripture teaches. Paul prayed three times for his thorn in the flesh to be removed and God had a different purpose in that case. I have seen God heal miraculously, I have seen Him heal gradually, and I have also seen faithful people die. That does not mean God has failed or that He does not love us. It means we trust His wisdom and goodness even as we continue to ask Him for what we need, knowing that healing is for today and that He is able.
So I will pray for you simply and without any pretense. There is no need for frenzy or show. Like the woman who reached out to touch the hem of His garment in faith, you can reach out to Jesus Himself today just as you are.
Father, in the name of Jesus I bring this dear one before You. You know every part of the body inside and out, for You formed it. I ask that You would touch and heal what is sick or broken within. Whether by a sudden touch or by Your steady restoring work day by day, bring wholeness. Heal also any fear, anxiety or heaviness of heart, and let Your peace guard mind and body. Above all let Your will be done, and help this dear one to feel Your presence and love through this time. I ask this trusting that You bore our infirmities and that You are still the Lord who heals. Amen.
Keep looking to Jesus, keep seeking Him in prayer and in His Word, and keep following the care of doctors He has provided. He is with you and He is for your restoration.
