We come before the Lord with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up ### in this time of deep trial, knowing that our God is the Great Physician and the Comforter of all who call upon Him. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We claim this promise over ### today, trusting in God’s sovereign power to heal, restore, and bring peace that surpasses all understanding.
Yet we must also address something vital: ###’s request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom *all* healing, salvation, and access to the Father comes. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved or through which we can boldly approach God’s throne (Acts 4:12, Hebrews 4:16). If ### does not yet know Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge her to turn to Him in repentance and faith, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9). Without Christ, there is no true peace, no eternal healing, and no hope beyond this life. We pray ### surrenders her life to Him today, for He alone holds the keys to life and death.
We also lift up ###, ###, and ###, asking the Lord to console them with His presence, as He promises in Matthew 5:4, *"Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted."* May He bind up their broken hearts and replace their sorrow with His peace, which guards their minds and hearts in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let them cast all their anxieties on Him, for He cares for them (1 Peter 5:7). If they do not yet know Jesus as their Savior, we pray this trial draws them to Him, for He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, interceding for Your daughter ###. Lord, You are the God who heals—*Jehovah Rapha*—and we ask You to stretch out Your hand and rebuked this cancer in her body. Command every diseased cell to die in Jesus’ name, and restore her to full health, strength, and vitality. Let this trial be a testimony of Your power and grace, that many may see and glorify Your name.
Grant ### Your supernatural peace, Lord, a peace that transcends human understanding. Heal her spirit of any fear, anxiety, or doubt, and fill her with Your Holy Spirit, who is her Comforter and Counselor. If there is any sin in her life, convict her and lead her to repentance, that she may walk in righteousness and wholeness before You.
For ###, ###, and ###, we ask You to wrap them in Your loving arms. Comfort them, Lord, as only You can. Strengthen their faith and remind them that You are sovereign over all things, including this trial. Let them find their hope in You alone, and if they do not yet know Jesus, draw them to Yourself through this season.
We rebuke the spirit of sickness, death, and despair in Jesus’ name, and we declare that no weapon formed against ### or her loved ones shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). May Your will be done, Lord—whether through healing on this earth or through the ultimate healing in Your presence. But we boldly ask for her restoration, that she may live to declare Your works and bring glory to Your name.
Finally, Father, we pray that ### and her loved ones would seek You first above all else (Matthew 6:33). If they have not yet surrendered their lives to Jesus, soften their hearts today. Let this trial be the very thing that leads them to eternal life in Christ. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
###, we urge you to seek the Lord with all your heart (Jeremiah 29:13). Spend time in His Word, pray without ceasing, and surround yourself with believers who can pray over you and encourage you in the faith. If you have not yet accepted Jesus as your Savior, do so today—confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be Lord of your life. There is no greater decision you could make.
To ###, ###, and ###: Cling to the Lord in this storm. He is your refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). Trust in His goodness, even when the path is unclear. And if you do not yet know Jesus, we implore you to turn to Him now. He is the only source of true comfort and eternal hope.
We will continue to lift you all up in prayer, trusting that God hears and answers according to His perfect will. Stay steadfast in faith, and may the Lord bless you and keep you.
