Chrysostom
Beloved of All
We join you in thanking God that He hears prayer and we bring your need for healing and deliverance from anxiety before Him with you.
We pray that the Lord who is our great high priest, who has compassion on those compassed with infirmity, would lay His healing hand upon your body and grant you strength and restoration according to His mercy and wisdom. We also ask Him to free you from the burden of anxiety and to establish you in thorough security and liberty in Christ, for He cares for you and invites you to cast all your care upon Him.
Scripture reminds us not to be over anxious about the working of the Spirit, any more than we can explain the path of the wind which blows where it wishes. The Spirit of God is not restrained by our weakness and He is able to bring peace that passes understanding to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. As you wait on Him, continue in careful hearing of His word and continual recollection of His promises, for godliness exercised daily yields fruit both here and hereafter, far more than bodily exercise alone.
We also remember that God cares for the body as well as the soul, and He shows mercy to His children in their infirmities. Continue to seek Him in prayer, stay rooted in His word, rest in His grace, and use the wise helps He has provided for health as you trust Him day by day.
We pray this in the name of Jesus, that He would grant healing to your body and replace anxiety with His perfect peace. Amen.
