Beloved of All
We thank you for sharing your prayer request and for your thankful heart toward God who hears our prayers. We join with you now and bring your needs before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to God and salvation.
We pray for you for healing in your body and for deliverance from anxiety. The Scriptures teach us to cast all our cares on Him because He cares for us, and to bring everything to God in prayer with thanksgiving, so that His peace which passes all understanding will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
There is a kind of inward war that can trouble us even when all is quiet around us, when anxious thoughts and fears rise up within. True peace is not only the absence of outward trouble but the quieting of the heart before God, a peace that is kept in godliness and honesty and through trust in Christ. Jesus Himself says, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you, and He is able to still that inner tumult and to bring rest to soul and body.
So we pray: Father God, thank you for your goodness and for hearing us when we call on you. In the name of Jesus we ask for your healing touch upon this dear one who is asking for help. Lay your hand upon their body, bring strength and restoration according to your will, and grant wisdom to all who care for them. We ask also for deliverance from anxiety. Quiet every fearful thought, calm the heart, and fill them with your perfect peace. Help them to keep looking to you, to hear your word and keep it in mind continually, and to rest in your love and faithfulness day by day. Teach them to bring every worry to you in prayer and to walk in the comfort of your presence. We ask this in the saving name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
