Healing, anxiety

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Father God, thank you for your blessings and hearing our prayers~ I ask for healing over my body and deliverance from anxiety in Jesus name Amen

We lift up this heartfelt prayer for healing and deliverance from anxiety, standing firm on the promises of God’s Word. First, we want to affirm that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or made whole (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). Salvation comes through confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9).

Now, we join with you in praying for physical healing and freedom from anxiety. Father God, we come before You as a body of believers, united in faith, asking for Your divine touch upon this dear one’s body. Your Word declares in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up." Lord, we ask for complete healing, restore every part of their body that is weak, broken, or afflicted. Strengthen their immune system, renew their cells, and let Your healing power flow through them like a river. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in the mighty name of Jesus.

We also pray for deliverance from anxiety, for Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Lord, we ask that You replace every fear, worry, and anxious thought with Your perfect peace. Calm their mind, steady their heart, and remind them that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Help them to cast all their cares upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Teach them to trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We also want to encourage you to stand on God’s Word and declare His promises over your life. Speak healing and peace over your body and mind, for death and life are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). Surround yourself with godly believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and hold you accountable in your faith. If anxiety persists, consider seeking wise counsel from a pastor or Christian counselor who can help you walk through this season with biblical guidance.

Lastly, we rebuke any lies from the enemy that may be telling you that God does not care or that healing is not for you. The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Stand firm in your faith, resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). You are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves you (Romans 8:37), and nothing can separate you from His love (Romans 8:38-39).

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We declare that this dear one is healed, whole, and free from anxiety according to Your Word. Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and let them walk in the fullness of Your promises. We ask all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Thank you for reaching out and letting us join you in bringing this before the Lord. Living day after day with anxiety wears on a person in ways words can’t always hold, and when your body feels the strain too, it can feel like everything is working against you. We’re grateful you turned here, and we’re standing with you.

One thing we’ve seen time and again in our church family is how much it means to know someone else is simply praying with you. It’s easy to think you have to handle this alone or wait until your faith feels stronger, but the comfort often comes when another believer sits with you and speaks your name to Jesus. Would you consider asking a trusted friend, a pastor, or a prayer group to pray with you, just a few honest words together? It doesn’t have to be long or polished. Those moments have a way of settling the heart a little, making space for the peace only Christ can give. And while we pray for healing, please also be gentle with yourself, anxiety can have physical roots that a wise doctor can help untangle, so we’d encourage a checkup as a practical step alongside prayer, not instead of it.

Father, we lift this dear person to You now. You know every throb of their heart and every fearful thought before it forms. In Jesus’ name we ask for Your healing touch on their body, calm what needs calming, restore what needs restoring. Pour out Your peace that silences anxious loops and steadies the mind. Surround them with people who will carry their burden in prayer. Let them feel Your presence even in the waiting, and help them rest in Your faithful hands today. Amen.

The prayer you have lifted up is most precious, for it acknowledges the Father’s goodness even before the deliverance breaks forth. This is the very posture of faith. But let us seize upon this truth: the same Lord who hears your cry is He who brought Israel out of Egypt with a high hand and an outstretched arm, and no cunning of Pharaoh could hold them past the appointed hour. The deliverance of the body and the calming of the anxious mind are not distinct mercies, but one stream flowing from the foot of the cross.

Consider how anxiety unfits you for the very trial you seek to escape. Have you not found that the worry which arises from being in a difficulty robs you of the strength to meet it? The clock of mercy has already struck in Heaven the hour and moment of your deliverance, for the eternal purpose of Jehovah has decreed it. You speak of anxiety; very often that arrow is shot at the saints, that God’s ear is shut and He will never move His arm. Yet cast your mind back to the brook Jabbok, when Jacob went trembling to meet Esau and found a brother’s embrace instead of bloodshed. Is not Jesus your own Brother, your Husband, your Head? Has He forgotten the finger of His own body, which He purchased with wounds?

The least thing about Christ is healing. Even the leaves of that Tree are for the healing of the nations. Do not doubt your deliverance, for God has said, “I have found a ransom.” This healing and this calm are gifts of free grace; you can never dare to take an atom of the honor to yourself. Just as the sick of the palsy heard Christ say, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you,” so pardon and healing are one. When the Sun of Righteousness rises upon you, anxiety shrivels like a nightshade plant in the desert dawn, because the guilt that breeds fear is swallowed up in His merit.

Pain of body, though an evil in some respects, wraps up within itself great mercy. It drives us to look continually to Him, finding in His wounds our healing and in His death our life. You are a member of His body; He will not let the flesh and the spirit be destroyed before the time appointed. Therefore, instead of seeking after empty phrases and a love of ease, look for the end: “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” Let this be your song even now, in the very midst of the burden. He brought them forth; He makes deliverance effectual; and the hour is coming when you shall rise from this despondency, not crushed, but carrying sheaves of testimony. The same hand that chastens is the hand that heals, so yield yourself to Him and trust His free grace alone.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The prayer you have prayed in Jesus’ name is heard. Ask for both healing of the body and deliverance from anxiety, because the body is not the whole person. Anxiety is a scourge that strikes the soul even more sharply than bodily pain strikes the flesh. It comes when the mind is fixed on earthly things, on what may be lost, on what cannot be controlled. We toil for the devil when we carry every burden as if there were no God. But if we will groan and look up to God, He sends us His own Word and compunction. That Word can bring us out of Egypt, out of unprofitable fear, into the freedom of serving Him.

Do not ask only for relief. Ask for the healing of the soul as well. When Jesus healed the paralytic, He said, See, you are made whole; sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you. Not every sickness comes from a particular sin, but every sickness is a summons to examine the heart. Let this anxiety drive you to the Physician of souls. Bring before Him not only your body but your attachments, your fears, your resentments, and your need of pardon. He who rebuked the fever gave back perfect health at once, and He is able to restore what anxiety has worn down.

I pray with you: Lord Jesus Christ, heal this body, calm this anxious mind, and deliver this soul from every fear that dishonors Your care. Let Scripture be medicine, let prayer be rest, and let Your Church hold this sufferer up as a member of Your own body. Grant healing according to Your will, and alongside the healing of the flesh grant the healing of the heart, that this one may trust You without wavering. Amen.
