We hear your cry for healing and deliverance from anxiety, and we join our voices with yours in lifting this burden before the throne of grace. The Word of God assures us that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and that He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Let us stand firm on these promises together.
First, we must address the foundation of our prayers, our relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:9-10). Salvation is the first and greatest healing, for it restores our relationship with God and opens the door to His blessings and peace.
Now, let us pray for your physical healing and deliverance from anxiety:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the promise of healing and peace that You have given us through Your Son. Lord, we ask that You lay Your healing hands upon [this individual], touching every part of their body that is afflicted. Restore their strength, renew their health, and let Your healing power flow through them like a river. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (1 Peter 2:24).
Father, we also pray for deliverance from anxiety and fear. We rebuke the spirit of fear in the name of Jesus and command it to leave. Fill [this individual] with Your perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
Lord, we ask that You draw near to [this individual] in this time of need. Let them feel Your presence and know that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Strengthen their faith and help them to trust in You with all their heart, leaning not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from fellow believers. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), so do not hesitate to reach out to your church community or trusted Christian friends. Additionally, consider speaking with a medical professional if anxiety is overwhelming, as God often works through practical means to bring healing.
Remember, the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). You are not alone in this battle. Stand firm on God’s promises, and let your heart be anchored in His Word. Meditate on Scriptures that speak of His peace and healing, such as Psalm 103:2-3, which says, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."
Finally, we rebuke any lies from the enemy that may be telling you that God does not care or that healing is not possible. The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Stand firm in your faith, resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7).
May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; may He turn His face toward you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.
