We thank you for sharing your heart with us and we join you in seeking the Father's will together in Jesus' name. We rejoice at your desire for a wise and understanding heart and to be a faithful steward of all that God has entrusted to you. This is a prayer that pleases the Lord, just as Solomon prayed and God was pleased to answer.
We are reminded of the promise in James 1:5, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. And also Proverbs 2:6, For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. Your longing to seek Him with all your heart, to pour out your soul before Him, and to learn effectively in His Word is exactly what He calls us to. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:13, You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart. And we agree with you for the fulfillment of Proverbs 13:20, One who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm. We pray the Lord will surround you with godly, wise counsel and that as you walk closely with Him and with the wise, you will grow in discernment, knowledge and understanding for every stewardship He has given you.
We also lift up your physical needs before our Healer. We bring before the throne your teeth and especially the upper wisdom tooth on the right, your eyes, your entire left leg and the left side of your pelvis, the ball in the upper part of your left leg in the thigh, the ball on the abdomen under the skin, and your stomach, intestines and entire gastrointestinal tract. We know that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and that God cares about every part of us. We cling to His promises in Psalm 103:2-3, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And in 1 Peter 2:24, By his wounds you were healed. And in Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh.
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the holy and mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we thank You for this dear one who desires to know You more and to walk in wisdom. Father, grant a wise and understanding heart as You gave to Solomon, that he may discern between good and evil and steward well all that You have placed in his hands, his time, his resources, his body and his calling. Help him to seek You with all his heart, to pour out his whole soul before You in prayer without ceasing, and to delight and grow in Your Word with understanding and retention. Lead him to walk with the wise that he may become wise, and guard him from foolish companions and empty counsel. Let Your Word be fulfilled in his life and let Your wisdom guide every decision he makes.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we also ask for Your healing touch upon his body. Lay Your healing hand upon his teeth and that upper wisdom tooth on the right, upon his eyes that they may see clearly and be free from pain and disease, upon his entire left leg and the left side of his pelvis, upon those balls in his thigh and on his abdomen that they would shrink and disappear according to Your mercy, and upon his stomach, intestines and entire gastrointestinal tract. We ask for complete and final healing, for restoration, for wholeness and for freedom from pain and infirmity. You are Yahweh who heals us, and nothing is too hard for You. Let Your healing power flow through him and let his body testify to Your goodness and mercy.
We thank You, Father, that You hear us when we pray in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can approach You and be saved. We trust Your perfect will and Your perfect timing, and we ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to abide in His Word daily, for it is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path as Psalm 119:105 says, and to persist in prayer, pouring out your heart honestly before Him. Cast all your cares and your physical concerns upon Him, for He cares for you as 1 Peter 5:7 teaches. We stand with you for wisdom, for deeper fellowship with the Father, and for complete healing, and we trust God to work abundantly according to His love for you.
