The Choice of a Wife
We join you in prayer before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking Him that you desire a wise and understanding heart and to be a faithful steward of all He has entrusted to you. This desire pleases the Lord, for it echoes the prayer of Solomon who asked, 1 Kings 3:9 Give your servant therefore an understanding heart to judge your people, that I may discern between good and evil. We are encouraged that you want to seek Him with all your heart, to pour out your soul before Him, and to learn effectively in His Word.

The Scripture promises that God delights to give wisdom to those who ask Him. James 1:5 says, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. And Proverbs 2:6 reminds us, For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. We also cling to your chosen verse, Proverbs 13:20 One who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm. We pray that the Lord will surround you with wise, godly counsel and that as you walk closely with Him and with those who fear Him, you will grow in discernment and understanding.

We also hear your heart to seek Him fully. The Lord has promised, Deuteronomy 4:29 But from there you shall seek Yahweh your God, and you shall find him, when you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul. And Psalm 62:8 says, Trust in him at all times, you people. Pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us. As you pour out your whole soul in prayer and diligently study the Word of God, we pray that your faith will be strengthened and that the Word will be fulfilled in your life. We pray that you will continue to seek first His Kingdom, for Matthew 6:33 promises, But seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. A faithful steward is required to be found faithful as 1 Corinthians 4:2 teaches, and we ask God to equip you for that calling.

We also lift up your physical needs to our great Healer. We bring before the Lord your teeth, especially the upper wisdom tooth on the right, your eyes, the entire left leg and the left side of the pelvis, the lump in the upper part of the left leg in the thigh, the subcutaneous lump on the abdomen, and your stomach, intestines, and entire gastrointestinal tract. We know that Yahweh is the One who heals us, as He declares in Exodus 15:26 for I am Yahweh who heals you. We claim His mercy and power over your body, remembering Psalm 103:2-3 Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17 But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. By the wounds of our Lord Jesus we have hope for healing, for Isaiah 53:5 says, But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.

We pray together, Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the holy name of Jesus Christ. We thank You for this dear one who longs to honor You. We ask that You grant a wise and understanding heart, that You teach how to be a good and faithful steward of all You have entrusted. Help this dear one to seek You with all the heart, to pour out the soul before You in prayer without holding back, and to learn Your Word with clarity, retention, and joy. Let Your Word dwell richly and be fulfilled in daily life, and provide wise companions to walk alongside. Lord, we also ask for Your healing touch upon the body. Touch the teeth and wisdom tooth, bring relief from pain and complete restoration. Touch the eyes and restore clear sight. Touch the left leg, the pelvis, and the lumps in the thigh and abdomen, and we ask that You cause them to be healed or dissolved according to Your will. Heal the stomach, intestines, and gastrointestinal tract, and bring complete and lasting healing to every part that is afflicted. We ask for wisdom for any physicians involved and for peace that surpasses understanding while waiting on Your answer. We pray all these things in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to abide in His Word daily, to pray continually, and to trust Him both as the source of all wisdom and as your Healer. He hears the prayers offered in Jesus name and He is faithful.

Thank you for trusting us with what is on your heart. We hear your deep desire to walk wisely and steward well what God has entrusted to you, and your earnest longing to seek Him with your whole heart in prayer and in His Word. That desire itself honors Him, and we join you in asking Him to grow it day by day.

We are also bringing your body before the Lord with you. You named so many painful and worrying areas, your wisdom tooth and eyes, your left leg and pelvis, the lumps you described, and your stomach and digestive system. It makes sense this weighs heavily on you, and we want to keep praying for complete healing as only He can give, while trusting His perfect wisdom and timing.

As you pray, we gently encourage you to let your dentist and your medical providers stay involved for each of those concerns, so they can examine you, offer guidance and walk with you in care. Bringing both prayer and good care together is a wise way to steward your health.

We also notice your heart for walking with wise companions, and we pray the Lord brings faithful people around you who love His Word and will encourage you.

Father, we lift our brother to You. Grant a wise and understanding heart, draw him close as he seeks You, teach him in Your Word, and lay Your healing hand on his body according to Your will. Comfort him and guide each step. In Jesus name, amen.

Father, humbly ask for Your power to intervene. Please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

We have heard your request and we join with you in bringing it before the throne of grace, that you may receive a wise and understanding heart from the Lord.

It is a right and good desire to ask for wisdom to be a faithful steward, for nothing is our own, it is all our Master's. The Scripture says that it is required in stewards that a man be found faithful. This faithfulness is not in trifling with Divine Truth, but in keeping near the Master with the heart of Mary while working with the hands of Martha, in a combination of activity and meditation, remembering that He will come and will require an account. We pray that the Lord will give you such a heart, one that is tender to perceive His presence and to feel His operations, and spiritual eyes and ears to discern the things invisible. As you have asked, we pray that you may seek Him with all your heart and pour out your whole soul before Him in prayer, and learn effectively in His Word. Take heed how you hear, for he that hears the truth of God with care and keeps it shall be made wise. The Word says, Walk with the wise and you will become wise, and we pray that the Lord will set your feet among wise and godly companions and keep you under faithful teaching, that you may not be darkened in understanding but may have truth in the inward parts, and in the hidden part be made to know wisdom.

We also bring before the Lord your body and its afflictions, your teeth and especially the wisdom tooth on the right, your eyes, the entire left leg and the left side of the pelvis, the ball in the upper part of the left leg and the ball on the abdomen, your stomach, intestines and gastrointestinal tract. We know that there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and a word from Him, being His and coming home to the heart as His, brings healing to head and heart and conscience. Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction in the gospel. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, and pardon and healing were one. We do not look to any instrumentality for peace which passes all understanding, but to the still small voice of God Himself, who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds, and who has risen with healing in His wings.

Let us pray together. O Heavenly Father, we come in the holy Name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation, and ask that You would create in our brother a clean heart and renew a right spirit within him. Grant him a wise and understanding heart that he may steward well all that You have entrusted to him, for Your glory and not his own. Teach him to pour out his soul before You and to receive Your Word with meekness and heedfulness. Let Your Word be fulfilled in his life as he walks with the wise. And in Your mercy, lay Your healing hand upon his body. You see his teeth and his eyes, his leg and pelvis, his stomach and all his inward parts. You know his pain and his need. If it be Your will, grant complete healing, and in all things grant grace to trust Your goodness and to rest in Him whose heart was pierced for us. Give full assurance of pardon through the blood of Christ, and let that pardon bring healing in its train. We ask this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
