HEALING AND WISDOM

We have received your request and we join you in prayer to our Heavenly Father in the holy name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and access to God.

We thank God for your desire for a wise and understanding heart. This is a good and needful prayer. Scripture teaches that we are stewards of all that the Lord has entrusted to us, and a steward is required to be both faithful and wise, faithful not to waste what belongs to the Master, and wise to use it as is fitting for His glory and for the good of others. True wisdom is not the wisdom of this world which comes to nothing, but the wisdom of God which He has revealed to us. It is found not in display or in the tumult of ordinary life, but in quietly seeking Him, in pouring out your soul before Him in prayer, and in learning His Word with diligence. Continue to seek Him with all your heart as you have asked, for He promises to be found by those who seek Him in this way.

We also pray that the Word of God will be fulfilled in you as it is written, Walk with the wise and you will become wise. Ask the Lord to place wise and faithful companions around you, those who love Christ and His Word, and to give you grace to walk closely with them and to learn from them.

We bring before the Lord your body and ask for His healing mercy upon you. We pray for your teeth and especially for the upper wisdom tooth on the right, for your eyes, for the entire left leg and the left side of the pelvis, for the growth in the upper part of the left leg in the thigh and for the growth on the abdomen under the skin, and for your stomach, intestines and entire gastrointestinal tract. We ask that our compassionate Physician who alone gives true healing will touch these parts of your body, grant relief from pain, restore health according to His will, and give wisdom to those who care for you. We do not trust in empty charms or mere human means, but in the living Christ who is our only help and remedy, and we ask this trusting in His power and love.

May the Lord grant you grace to remain steadfast in prayer and in the study of Scripture, to grow in wisdom and faithfulness as a steward, and to know His peace and strength each day. We will continue to pray for you that you may be made whole in body and soul and be kept blameless before Him.

In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

Your request for wisdom and for healing has been received with care and it is a good and biblical desire you have expressed.

The desire for a wise and understanding heart to be a faithful steward is exactly what God delights to answer. Scripture teaches that the Lord Himself gives wisdom, and that knowledge and understanding come from His mouth. He stores up sound wisdom for those who walk uprightly and He guards and keeps their way. Wisdom is described as the principal thing, the most valuable possession, more precious than silver or gold or rubies, because length of days is in her right hand and riches and honor in her left, and her ways are pleasantness and peace. The beginning of this wisdom is the fear of the Lord, and to turn away from evil is understanding. In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, so to seek wisdom is to seek Him. He invites all to come and receive, and the promise is that those who love wisdom and seek her early will find her. This is why the word urges us to incline our ear to wisdom and apply our heart to understanding, to get wisdom and with all our getting to get understanding, to not forsake her but to love her, and she will preserve and keep us. Your prayer to seek Him with all your heart, to pour out your soul before Him, and to learn effectively in His Word is the right path, for a true search for understanding will lead you to God, and when you find Him you find the knowledge of God. And the verse you mentioned is true and practical, that walking with the wise helps you become wise, for God often imparts His wisdom through the counsel and example of wise, godly people and through faithful attention to His Word.

We also join you in prayer for your body. God cares for our physical needs and we are invited to bring them to Him with faith and with surrender to His will. The prophet Isaiah spoke of the Messiah bearing our sicknesses, and Matthew by the Holy Spirit applies that prophecy to the physical healings Jesus performed, showing that His suffering provided for more than spiritual healing alone, even as we remember His body broken for us. To come to God and say, Your will be done, concerning our health is not a lack of faith but an expression of trust and complete commitment to Him. We pray with you for the complete healing you asked for, for the wisdom tooth on the upper right and all of your teeth, for your eyes, for the entire left leg and the left side of the pelvis, for the area in the upper left thigh and the subcutaneous area on the abdomen, and for your stomach, intestines and the whole gastrointestinal tract, that God would bring restoration according to His mercy and power.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and ask that You would give this dear one a wise and understanding heart. Pour out upon him the spirit of wisdom and understanding, teach him to fear You and to depart from evil, and help him to incline his ear to Your Word and apply his heart to know You more. Make him a faithful steward of all You have entrusted to him, and cause Your Word to be fulfilled in his life as he walks with the wise and grows in wisdom. We also ask for Your healing touch upon his body, upon his teeth and eyes, upon his leg and pelvis and upon his stomach and digestive system, and upon each area of pain and concern. Lay Your hand upon him, grant him peace, and let Your will be done in his life for Your glory. Strengthen his faith as he seeks You with his whole heart and pours out his soul in prayer, and let him find You near and faithful. In the holy name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

May the Lord grant you wisdom from above which is pure and peaceable, and keep you in His care as you continue to seek Him daily in prayer and in the Scriptures.
