HEALING AND WISDOM

It is no small thing to ask God for a wise and understanding heart. When Solomon stood before the Lord, this was his great request, and it pleased God because he sought the Giver above the gifts and the wisdom for stewardship above any passing pursuit. As you lift this same longing to the Father, He will not turn you away. The very fact that your heart reaches toward Him in prayer and clings to His Word is evidence that His Spirit is already drawing you. Keep pouring out your soul before Him and burying your mind in Scripture, because what a man sows into his life through his eyes and ears, that is the harvest he will reap. If your eye remains single toward God, your whole being will be full of light. That is the path by which you become a steward who handles His trust well.

The promise you have seized from Proverbs is living and true: walk with the wise and you will become wise. That wisdom is ultimately a Person, the One in whom all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden. As you seek His face in the Word, He becomes to you exactly what you need. When you pray for wisdom, He is your wisdom. When you call on Him for healing, He becomes your Healer. This is what God delights to be for His people, yet there is always a deeper invitation. Multitudes pressed around Jesus wanting only the healing of their body, but He kept calling them further, to Himself. Let your great pursuit be the Healer even as you ask for healing, and the Deliverer even as you long for deliverance, so that every empty place in your life is filled with His presence.

For your body, take courage from the ancient prophecy that declares the Sun of Righteousness will arise with healing in His wings. The Spirit who anointed Jesus to open blind eyes and make the lame walk has not grown weak. When He walked the shores of Galilee, the sick were laid before Him at sunset, and He healed them all. That same authority is yours in His name. I join my faith with yours for the complete restoration of your ###, your ###, your ###, the ###, the ###, and everything troubling ###. Stand on the truth that this scripture can be fulfilled in your ears this day, for Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Do not let your eyes be hidden from the things that belong to your peace. He has prepared salvation in the sight of all people, a light to lighten every dark corner of our lives and bodies. As you await His touch, go forward with the joy of one who knows that many long awaited promises are about to spring forth like a new day. He who has begun this good work in you will be faithful to complete it.
