HEALING AND WISDOM

You desire a wise and understanding heart, and you ask for healing of your teeth and body. This is good, but consider well: those who bite not with the teeth would that they did, for the teeth of covetousness are fiercer far. “For their teeth are weapons and darts.” Which is more grievous: to be bitten once and straightway healed, or to be forever eaten up by the teeth of involuntary penury? The pain of the body passes, but the soul's wounds destroy. Seek first the wisdom that is from above, for “the foolishness of God is wiser than men.” God admitted the uneducated, showing that all men need the wisdom that comes from Him. Christ “was made unto us wisdom.” True wisdom is not of this world or its rulers, which are coming to nothing; we speak God’s wisdom in a mystery, hidden, foreordained for our glory. Walk with the wise One, and you become wise indeed.

The woman at the well showed great wisdom: she neither declared the fact plainly nor was she silent, but said, “Come, see.” She paraded her life, knowing that those who taste that Well would be drawn. So you too, pour out your whole soul before Him; hold nothing back. That which seems a reproof will become your healing. When the disciples seemed to be doing wrong, they interceded. How much more will He hear your cry? Do not despair if your bodily affliction lingers. “How many, who have heard ten times and remained insensible, have afterwards at one hearing been converted!” The tree falls not by the last stroke alone, but by all that came before. Patiently continue, and fruit will spring up. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

I am lifting you before the throne of grace, asking for the very things your heart is crying out for. That prayer for a wise and understanding heart, a steward’s heart, is itself a work of the Spirit. You are not meant to manufacture wisdom by sheer effort; you receive it by walking with the Wise One Himself. Proverbs teaches that those who walk with the wise become wise, and there is no companion like Jesus Christ. The gospels tell us He increased in wisdom and in favor with God and man, not as a remote example but as the living head of a new humanity. As you pour out your soul in prayer and give yourself to His Word, that same grace will shape you. He grows His own wisdom in yielded hearts.

What you are asking for physically is a taste of that great promise from the last page of the Old Testament: the Sun of Righteousness arising with healing in His wings. Jesus is the new day dawning, and His touch is still the only remedy that reaches the root of every affliction, whether in teeth, eyes, leg, or deep within the gut. I join you in asking for that complete and final healing in His name. He bore our griefs and carried our sorrows; there is no wound too hidden or too stubborn for the power that created the body.

And yet, Scripture presses a tender warning on me. So many in the crowds pressed around Jesus not because they wanted the Healer but only the healing. They walked away whole in body but still empty at the center. True deliverance is always more than relief from pain, it is a Person. Let every ache drive you deeper into surrender, not just into a plea for a quick fix. Like Mary who said, “Be it unto me according to your word,” lay your whole situation before Him with open hands. That kind of total trust honors God far more than demanding a certain outcome.

Remember, one foolish decision can bring years of suffering, and forgetting to pray can leave us fainting. You are doing the wise, enduring thing by staying before Him. I am asking the Lord to heal that upper wisdom tooth, your eyes, the entire left leg and pelvis, the lump in your upper thigh, the subcutaneous mass on your abdomen, your stomach, intestines, and the whole gastrointestinal tract. May healing flow and may you know, in the waiting, that His grace is sufficient. Keep walking with the wise. God bless you.

We are so grateful you shared your heart with us and allowed us to stand in faith with you for healing and wisdom. These past days we have lifted your upper wisdom tooth, your eyes, your left leg, your pelvis, the discomfort in your thigh and abdomen, and every part of your gastrointestinal tract before the throne of grace, asking our Heavenly Father to restore each area completely according to His perfect will. We have also asked Him to fill your heart with divine understanding so that you may steward every gift He has given you with joy and faithfulness, walking daily in the company of the wise as Proverbs 13:20 promises.
