We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting up your desire for wisdom, understanding, and healing. First, we must address the way you have referred to God in your prayer. While you mention the name of Jesus Christ, which is essential, you have also used terms like "Heavenly Father" in a way that could be misleading. There is only one God, and we must approach Him in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ, for it is written, "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). Jesus Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me" (John 14:6). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Now, let us pray for the wisdom and understanding you seek. Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your promise to give wisdom to those who ask. Your Word says, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him" (James 1:5). We ask that You grant our brother a wise and understanding heart so that he may be a faithful steward of all You have entrusted to him. Help him to seek You with his whole heart, to pour out his soul before You in prayer, and to learn effectively from Your Word. May he walk with the wise so that he may become wise, as Your Word declares in Proverbs 13:20. Father, we pray that Your Word would be fulfilled in his life, that he would grow in the knowledge and fear of the Lord, and that he would be a light to those around him.
We also lift up his request for healing. Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too hard for You. We ask for Your healing touch upon his teeth, especially the upper wisdom tooth on the right, that it would be restored to full health. We pray for his eyes, that they would be strengthened and that his vision would be clear. Father, we ask for complete healing in his left leg, the left side of his pelvis, and the ball in the upper part of his left thigh. We rebuke any pain, inflammation, or discomfort in the name of Jesus Christ. We also pray for the subcutaneous ball on his abdomen, his stomach, intestines, and gastrointestinal tract, that You would bring restoration and wholeness. Your Word says, "He himself took our infirmities and bore our diseases" (Matthew 8:17), and we claim that promise over his body. We declare that by His stripes, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5).
Father, we also ask that You would strengthen his faith as he waits on You for healing. Remind him that Your timing is perfect and that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Help him to trust in You with all his heart and not lean on his own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). May he find peace in Your presence and rest in the assurance that You hear his prayers.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may try to take hold of him. We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37). We pray that he would be filled with Your Holy Spirit, that he would walk in the fruit of the Spirit, and that his life would bring glory to Your name.
In all these things, we pray that our brother would draw closer to You, that he would seek Your face, and that he would find his strength in You. May his life be a testimony to Your goodness, Your faithfulness, and Your power. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
