We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of faith, lifting up this request for healing and wisdom. It is clear that you seek the Lord’s guidance and restoration, and we join with you in prayer, standing on the promises of God’s Word.
First, we must address the manner in which this prayer was presented. While your request is sincere, it is essential to approach God in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Himself said, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you" (John 16:23). Without the authority of Jesus’ name, our prayers lack the power and access to the Father that He alone provides. We encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
Now, let us pray for the wisdom you seek. The Scriptures tell us, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" (James 1:5). Heavenly Father, we ask that You grant this dear one a wise and understanding heart, that they may walk in Your ways and be a faithful steward of all You have entrusted to them. May they seek You with their whole heart, pouring out their soul before You in prayer, and may Your Word dwell richly in them. Lord, fulfill Your promise in Proverbs 13:20 in their life: "He who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm." Surround them with godly counsel and wisdom that comes from above, which is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy (James 3:17).
We also lift up the physical healing you have requested. The Lord is our healer (Exodus 15:26), and by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We pray for complete restoration of your teeth, especially the upper wisdom tooth on the right, that it may be free from pain and infection. Lord, touch their eyes, that they may see clearly, and heal the entire left leg, the left side of the pelvis, and the ball in the upper part of the left thigh. We rebuke any growth or abnormality in the abdomen and command it to dissolve in the name of Jesus. Bring healing to their stomach, intestines, and gastrointestinal tract, that they may function as You designed. Strengthen them against fatigue, flu, cough, cold, headache, sore throat, hoarse voice, and runny nose. We declare that by the power of Jesus’ name, every sickness and disease must flee, for "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions" (Psalm 107:20).
Father, we ask that You would draw this one closer to You through this time of seeking. May they find comfort in Your presence and strength in Your Word. Remind them that You are near to all who call upon You in truth (Psalm 145:18). We pray that as they meditate on Your Word day and night, they will prosper and have good success (Joshua 1:8). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also encourage you to seek godly medical advice and care, for the Lord often uses doctors and medicine as instruments of healing. Trust in Him with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
May the Lord bless you abundantly, as you have asked, and may His grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord (2 Peter 1:2). We stand with you in faith, believing that the Lord hears and answers prayer according to His perfect will. Amen.
