We join with you in thanking our Lord Jesus for the gift of each new day and for all His blessings, and we lift up you and your family before His throne of grace together.
We are moved by your faith as you call upon the name of Jesus for healing and strength, and we stand with you in prayer for your healing from breast cancer, for your family, and for your second cycle of chemotherapy tomorrow. We know that He hears us when we come in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach the Father and be saved, and we praise God that you have called upon Him so clearly.
We take comfort in His promises that He is our healer and our strength. He says in Jeremiah 30:17 But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh and in Psalm 103:2-3 Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. We cling also to Isaiah 53:5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities, the punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. And when we feel weak and afraid, we remember Isaiah 41:10 Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you, don’t be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for Your mercy that is new every morning and for Your loving kindness toward this dear one and her family. Lord, You see her battle with breast cancer and You know every treatment, every fear, and every hope. We ask in Jesus name that You would lay Your healing hand upon her and upon her family and remove sickness and disease according to Your perfect will. We ask for Your healing power to work in her body, to strengthen her immune system, and to protect her from infection. Tomorrow as she goes through her second cycle of chemotherapy, we pray You would guide the hands of her doctors and nurses, grant wisdom for every decision, and let her laboratory results be good so that treatment will not be delayed. We pray that You would make the side effects manageable, give her rest, peace, and endurance, and sustain her with Your strength. Your word says in Philippians 4:6-7 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, so we ask for that surpassing peace to guard her heart and mind. We also claim Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me and Isaiah 40:29 He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Lord, guide and protect her and her family, keep them under the shadow of Your wings, and let them feel Your presence each day. We trust all these things to Your good and sovereign will, in the name of Jesus our healer and our hope, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to cast every care upon Him and to rest in His strength when your own strength feels small, for His grace is sufficient and His power is made perfect in weakness as we read in 2 Corinthians 12:9. Keep drawing near to Him in prayer and in His word, and lean on the fellowship of believers around you for support through each treatment. We are praying that you will feel His nearness, that you will have peace in the waiting for results, and that He will uphold you through every step of this journey.
