Healing And Salvation For A Friend

I have a close friend named Joseph... He needs healing. He is 23 years old, and the only family he has is his 10 year old nephew that he just got custody of. He’s had a very hard life from the time he was a small child, and has in his mind that if there is a God, why does he let bad things happen to good people. I’m asking that you remember my friend in prayer, and pray not only for his physical healing, but also emotional healing, and for God to move in his life, and open his heart and that will accept salvation.

He has a 3cm regional gastrointestinal carcinoid tumor in the lining of his small intestine. Which means he has a fairly large cancerous tumor. Regional means that it has most likely spread to his lymph nodes and possibly his liver. He will be having more tests done Tuesday to see if the cancer is dormant. If it is, they can operate. If it isn't, he can do chemotherapy/radiation... But, this type of cancer, apparently doesn't respond well to chemo. He's preparing for the worst. I would really appreciate it if you all would keep him in your prayers a little longer. Thank you all!

I humbly pray for Joseph, that God may touch his heart in this time of need. God will shine down His grace upon him, so that he will be forged in the Lord's fire. Illness of any kind is frightening experience, but please, let his heart be touched by Your Spirit.

As for bad things happening to good people, the usual answer is that He moves in mysterious ways. I guess it's the same reason why good things happen to "bad" people -- no one is "good" or "bad" all the time. The suffering itself is not the objective, not the end-all-be-all of the experience, but what comes out of it in the end. I know it may be difficult to see it now, but God doesn't magically give strength or wisdom or faith to people; instead, He provides them with opportunities to show the strength, wisdom and faith that they've had all along. See, it's not that God gives you strength in your time of need -- He simply shows you the strength that you've ALWAYS had in you.

Lord Jesus this young man Joseph is in such a desperate situation. His whole life is in turmoil. Jesus he firstly needs to know You as his Lord and Saviour and I pray that the witness of Melyn26 will lead him to You. Lord Jesus I ask You to put Your healing hands on Joseph and take this cancer from his body for good. Also the little ten year old nephew needs Your loving protection and Your guidance dear Jesus. Lord please bless and heal this whole situation right now and I ask this in Your most powerful and beautiful name Jesus. Amen.

As I read this prayer request, I ask in your mighty Name that you give this young person a strength to go through this chemo. As you give my wife. I believed that you are in control of everything. Please healed this young person and give him faith in You. Cause in Your Words, You loved every little children, You created us in an amazing way. Please give this young person family,the doctors, and the nurses patience to support him during the chemo progress. My friend got his test results back. He has a 7-10% chance he'll make it 5 years. He tried to commit suicide about an hour ago. Please keep praying for his soul.
