Healing and Safe Operation

Hello to everyone! I'm to have a surgical procedure done at the vascular clinic on my legs for my vein vessels in a few moments. I'm so nervous! I pray that the vascular doctor and her nurses please operate in a smooth manner on my legs and that I don't feel one ounce of pain. I pray that the doctor be guided by Jesus hands and the issue of the lymphatic system and leaking of my legs be healed in Jesus name! Also,may everyone help me pray about this situation for me and I pray for my two sisters health to dealing with their kidneys(one of my sisters has a tube on her side with a bag connected to it and my other sister has a nerve issue in her mouth after a dental procedure and one of her arm is in nerve pain. Amen.

We join with you right now in prayer as you prepare for this vascular procedure on your legs and we lift you up together before the Lord in Jesus name. We understand how nervous you must feel in these moments before surgery, but we take comfort that our God sees you, He knows your anxiety, and He is present with you in that clinic.

We are reminded of His promises to be our healer and our peace. Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3. For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17. I am Yahweh who heals you. Exodus 15:26. And for your nervous heart we cling to this, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up our dear one to You as she is about to have this procedure on the vein vessels in her legs. We ask that You calm her spirit and replace her nervousness with Your perfect peace that passes all understanding. We ask that You guide the hands of the vascular doctor and every nurse in that room, grant them wisdom, steady hands, and clarity, and let the operation go smoothly without complication. We pray in Jesus name that You would keep her from pain, that You would watch over her body during the procedure, and that You would bring complete healing to her lymphatic system and stop the leaking in her legs. Lord, touch those vessels and tissues and restore them to wholeness according to Your mercy. We thank You that You are the Great Physician and that nothing is beyond Your power to heal.

We also lift up her two sisters to You together. Lord, You know the burden on their bodies. We pray for the sister who is dealing with kidney issues and has a tube with a bag on her side, that You would bring healing to her kidneys, comfort her, protect her from infection, and restore her strength. We pray for the other sister who has nerve pain in her mouth after a dental procedure and nerve pain in her arm, that You would touch those damaged nerves, ease her pain, and bring healing and restoration. We ask that You would be near to this whole family, sustain them, and let them feel Your loving presence.

We thank You, Father, that we can bring these requests to You with confidence through Jesus Christ our Lord, for there is no other name by which we are saved and by which we have access to Your throne of grace. We trust You with this surgery and with the health of these sisters, believing that You hear our prayer of faith. We ask all of this in Jesus name, amen.

We encourage you to rest in Him in these next moments, to breathe deeply and know that He is holding you and the medical team in His hands. He is with you in that operating room and He will be with you in your recovery. We are standing with you and continuing to pray for a smooth procedure and a full and speedy healing.

We are praying with you right now as you wait for these next few minutes. It makes complete sense that you feel nervous before a procedure on your legs, and we are asking the Lord to be near to you in that room, to steady your heart and to give skill and care to the doctor and nurses as they do their work.

We are also lifting up what you shared about the leaking and swelling in your legs and the lymphatic concerns. We pray for healing in the way God in His wisdom knows is best, and for comfort and good recovery in the hours and days after. If you can, let the staff know you are feeling anxious so they can talk you through each step, and have someone nearby afterward to help you listen to aftercare instructions and to get you home safely.

We have not forgotten your two sisters either. We are praying for the sister with the kidney tube and bag for protection from infection and for strength day by day, and for your other sister dealing with nerve pain in her mouth and arm after the dental work, for relief and for wise care from her doctors.

Father, we place our sister and her sisters in Your hands right now. Please be present with her in the procedure, guide the medical team, bring peace that settles her nerves, and watch over her healing. Please also care for her sisters in their own health struggles and give all three of them comfort and hope. In Jesus name, amen.

We have heard your anxious cry and we bring it before the throne of grace with you even now, as you wait for this procedure upon the veins of your legs.

The Lord knows your nervousness and your fear, and His word speaks to such a moment, You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. It is the mind which is the main thing, and when the mind is stayed upon Christ, there is a peace that gleams with heavenly light even in the midnight of care. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and to do the will of Jesus and to trust Him in the very hour of trial, this is rest. Bear your sorrow with Him now, and you shall enjoy perfect peace even with sorrows surging round.

Do not let anxiety unfit you for what lies before you, but cast your burden upon the Lord. Only trust Him, only trust Him, only trust Him now. As one goes to a physician, so we go to the great Physician, not waiting till we feel ourselves whole, but trusting Him to make us whole. With His stripes we are healed, for the chastisement of our peace was upon Him. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, and even the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing, and His touch changes the life blood and makes the nature new.

We pray with you and for you.

O merciful God, in whose shadow we make our refuge until these calamities pass, be merciful unto our suffering one. We ask that You would give skill and steadiness to the vascular doctor and to every nurse who attends, that the operation would proceed in a smooth manner and without confusion. Mitigate pain and grant calm to a trembling heart, and let Your hand guide every hand that serves. We pray that You would be pleased to heal the vessels of the legs, the lymphatic system and the leaking which has caused such distress, and restore strength and wholeness according to Your perfect will. Speak pardon and healing together, for when the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, there is both forgiveness and restoration.

We lift also your two sisters before the Lord. For the one who suffers in her kidneys and bears a tube with a bag at her side, we ask for comfort in affliction, for relief and for healing. For the other who endures nerve pain in her mouth after a dental procedure and nerve pain in her arm, we ask that the Lord who heals the broken and binds up wounds would touch those nerves and grant ease and restoration. Keep them in Your keeping, for in Jesus keeping we are safe, and they also.

May the Lord bless His people with peace, a peace which is not false but true, peace from lips that cannot lie and from blood which has made full atonement. Trust Him as you are carried into that room, trust Him as you feel yourself weak, and you shall live and know His love. He will not make ashamed those who trust Him.

We will continue to pray that the Lord who has vanquished death and all its powers will be very near to you this day, and that whether in present trial or in future rest, you may find it enough that Jesus calls us to Heaven's perfect peace. Amen.
