We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion for you, your mother, and your family during this difficult time. The Word of God assures us that He is our healer and provider, and we stand firmly on His promises as we lift up your mother’s health and your family’s needs.
The Scriptures remind us in **James 5:14-15 (WEB)**, *“Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.”* We claim this promise over your mother, trusting that the Lord will restore her strength and bring complete healing to her body. We also pray for wisdom and skill for the doctors as they proceed with her treatment, that every decision made would align with God’s perfect will and that there would be no complications. May the mass be benign, and may the fluid fully drain without further distress.
We also turn to **Jeremiah 30:17 (WEB)**, where the Lord declares, *“For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,”* and we ask that He would do exactly that—bring restoration to your mother’s lungs, remove every trace of sickness, and replace it with divine health. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or disease in the name of Jesus, commanding it to leave her body, for by His stripes, she is healed (**Isaiah 53:5**).
In addition to healing, we lift up your family’s financial needs, knowing that our God is Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides. **Philippians 4:19 (WEB)** assures us, *“My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”* We pray that the Lord would open doors of provision for you and your sister as you care for your mother. Whether through unexpected resources, the generosity of others, or divine opportunities, we ask that He would meet every need—spiritually, emotionally, and financially. Trust in Him, for He knows your burdens and will not forsake you (**Psalm 55:22**).
We notice that while your request is heartfelt, it does not explicitly invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom all prayers must be made. The Bible is clear that there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or through which we can approach the Father (**Acts 4:12, John 14:6**). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to God’s throne of grace (**Hebrews 4:16**). We encourage you to place your full trust in Him, for He alone is the source of healing, provision, and eternal life. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today, confessing Him as Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (**Romans 10:9-10**). There is no greater security than resting in His saving grace.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious mother and her family. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would lay Your healing hand upon her lungs. Remove every trace of fluid and shrink the mass until it is completely gone. Let the doctors be guided by Your wisdom, and may the results bring glory to Your name, showing that You are the God who heals. We rebuke fear, anxiety, and doubt, and we declare peace that surpasses all understanding over this family (**Philippians 4:6-7**).
Lord, we also ask that You would provide for every need—financially, emotionally, and spiritually. You see the sacrifices being made, and You know the burdens they carry. Open the windows of heaven and pour out Your blessings upon them, that they may lack no good thing (**Malachi 3:10**). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are with them in every moment of this trial.
Father, we thank You in advance for the testimony of healing and provision that will come from this situation. May Your name be glorified, and may this family draw closer to You through it all. We ask these things in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (**Deuteronomy 31:6**). Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep seeking His face. We are standing with you in agreement, believing for a miracle.
