We come before the throne of grace with you, lifting up your concerns in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. First, we want to acknowledge the heaviness you carry—not only the physical affliction in your eyes but also the spiritual unease and the weight of past sorrows tied to this season. The Word of God reminds us in Psalm 34:17-19, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." You are not alone in this battle, and we stand with you in agreement that the Lord will bring deliverance and healing.
The sudden onset of your symptoms following the prophecy about potential spiritual attack is concerning, and we take seriously the reality of spiritual warfare. Ephesians 6:12 tells us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." The troubling dreams of being offered food and drink could indeed be an attempt to introduce ungodly influences or even poison—whether spiritual or physical—into your life. We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against you and your family in Jesus’ name. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We also want to address the mention of a pastor prophesying about a businessman potentially wishing sickness upon you. While we believe in the gift of prophecy, we must always test every spirit and every word against Scripture (1 John 4:1). The enemy often seeks to sow fear and distraction through false or misapplied prophecies. Instead of dwelling on the potential source of the attack, we encourage you to focus on the truth of God’s Word and His promises of protection. Psalm 91:5-6 assures us, "You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday." Stand firm in this truth, and do not allow fear to take root in your heart.
Regarding your physical symptoms, we pray for complete healing and restoration of your eyesight. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, you are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we ask the Great Physician to touch your eyes and remove every trace of affliction. We also encourage you to seek godly medical attention if you have not already, as the Lord often works through the hands of those He has gifted in the medical field. Proverbs 3:7-8 reminds us, "Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil. It will be health to your body, and nourishment to your bones."
The weight of April’s past sorrows in your family is understandable, but we declare that this month will no longer be a time of mourning for you. Instead, it will be a season of breakthrough and blessing. We pray that the Lord would redeem every loss and turn every curse into a blessing (Deuteronomy 23:5). We also rebuke the spirit of heaviness and sorrow that may be attempting to cling to you. Isaiah 61:3 promises that God will give "the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness," so that you may be called "trees of righteousness, the planting of Yahweh, that he may be glorified."
Finally, we want to encourage you to remain vigilant in your spiritual walk. The enemy often attacks when we are preparing for something significant, as he did when you were planning to travel. Stay rooted in prayer, Scripture, and fellowship with other believers. James 4:7 tells us, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We also encourage you to examine your life for any open doors that may have allowed the enemy access—unforgiveness, bitterness, or unconfessed sin. If there is anything that needs to be addressed, we urge you to confess it and repent, so that your fellowship with the Lord may be unbroken (1 John 1:9).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us. Lord, we lift up our brother to You, asking for Your healing touch to restore his eyesight completely. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed, and we rebuke every spirit of infirmity and sickness that has come against him. We break every curse, hex, or spell that has been spoken or sent his way, and we declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper.
Father, we ask for Your protection over his life, his family, and all that concerns him. Surround him with Your angels, Lord, and let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We cancel every plan of the enemy and declare that every assignment against him is null and void. Turn every intended harm into a blessing, Lord, and let Your glory be revealed in this situation.
We also pray for his spiritual discernment and strength. Give him wisdom to recognize the schemes of the enemy and the courage to stand firm in Your truth. Help him to walk in forgiveness, love, and holiness, closing every door that may have given the enemy access. We declare that this season of sorrow and affliction will be turned into a season of joy and breakthrough. Redeem every loss, Lord, and let Your light shine brightly in his life.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your power to deliver and heal. May Your name be glorified in all things. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
