We join you in lifting up these many burdens to our Father in heaven and we thank you for calling upon the Lord with a heart full of love for Him and for your family.
We bring before Him your health and your husband's health, your marriage and your desire to get along in love and unity, and the heaviness of anxiety, ringing in the ears, hearing loss and depression. We also lift up your foot and your appointment with the foot doctor today, asking for wisdom for the doctor and for a good report, and we lift up your sisters and your extended family, and that dear one who is suffering with brain cancer and her family who need comfort and peace.
We are encouraged by your love for the Lord and we want to gently remind you that it is through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved and heard. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. So we come boldly together in the name of Jesus, trusting His mercy and grace for every need.
The Lord sees your anxiety and depression and He invites you to cast every care upon Him. We are reminded in 1 Peter 5:7 to cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you. And in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We pray that His peace which passes understanding will guard your heart and mind and replace fear and heaviness with rest. In Matthew 11:28 Jesus says, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.
For your physical healing we trust in the Lord who heals. In Psalm 103:2-3 we read, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And in Psalm 147:3, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. In Isaiah 53:5, But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. We ask for His healing touch upon your ears, your hearing, your foot, and upon every part of your body and your husband's body according to His perfect will. We also pray for your marriage, that God would strengthen your bond in love, patience and kindness. In Ephesians 4:2-3 we are called to walk with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love, being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. And in Colossians 3:14, Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection. We pray the Lord will help you both to bear with one another, to forgive quickly and to encourage one another daily.
For your appointment today we pray for favor and for clear answers, trusting in Proverbs 3:5-6, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. May the Lord guide the doctor's hands and eyes and give you peace about the outcome.
We also lift up that precious loved one with brain cancer and her family. Our hearts ache with you for her suffering. We pray for the Lord's nearness and comfort, for His peace to surround her and her family, and for healing according to His will. In Psalm 34:18, Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. And in John 14:27 Jesus says, Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you, not as the world gives, give I to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful. We ask that even in this very difficult trial, she and her family would feel the presence of the Good Shepherd and know that nothing can separate them from the love of God.
We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You for Your love and Your mercy that never fails. We lift up our sister and her husband to You, asking for Your healing hand upon their bodies, for relief from anxiety and depression, for healing of the ears and restoration of hearing, and for strength for the foot and a good report at the appointment today. Lord, pour out Your peace upon her mind and heart and let her know You are close. Bless her marriage, help them to love each other as You have loved us, to speak with grace, to forgive and to walk in unity. We lift up her sisters and all her family, cover them with Your protection and draw each one closer to You. And Father, we lift up the dear one battling brain cancer, we ask for Your mercy, for comfort, for peace that surpasses understanding, and for strength for her family. If it is Your will, bring healing, and in all things let Your name be glorified and let them feel Your everlasting arms underneath them. Help us all to trust You more each day and to rest in Your promises. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to bring everything to the Lord in prayer with thanksgiving, to stay in His Word daily, and to lean on the fellowship of believers. In James 5:15 we are reminded, The prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. Keep trusting Him, for He is faithful and He hears every prayer offered in Jesus name.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
