We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you and your precious daughters up in prayer. Father God, we know that You see every tear, every struggle, and every moment of brokenness in this family’s life. You are the God of restoration, healing, and unfailing love, and we ask You to move mightily in this situation.

First, we rebuke the spirit of abandonment and betrayal that has torn through this family. The pain of your husband’s choices is deep, and we declare that no weapon formed against you or your daughters will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for healing in your mind and heart, Lord. You say in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," declares Yahweh. We claim that promise over you now. Though the damage feels irreversible, we trust in Your power to renew and restore what has been broken. Help her to fight for her healing, to use her mind as You intended, and to walk in the fullness of the life You have for her.

We also lift up your daughters, Father. The pain of their father’s choices and the instability they’ve witnessed is not lost on You. We pray for their hearts to be guarded by Your peace, for their trust in You to grow stronger, and for their identities to be rooted in Christ, not in the brokenness of this world. For your daughter who is engaged, we ask for wisdom and discernment as she prepares for marriage. May her future husband be a godly man who loves her as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25). We pray that this season of her life would be marked by joy and hope, not by the scars of the past.

Father, we must address the sin that has taken place here, not to condemn, but to call it what it is so that true repentance and healing can begin. The Bible is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, and what your husband has done is adultery (Matthew 19:4-6). His remarriage to another woman while still married to you is not only a violation of God’s design but a deep wound to your family. We rebuke the spirit of unfaithfulness and deception that has led him astray, and we pray that his eyes would be opened to the gravity of his sin. If there is any hope for reconciliation, may it only come through genuine repentance and a return to the Lord. But if not, we pray that You would be his judge and that You would protect this family from further harm.

We also must speak to the sin of drunkenness that has brought such devastation into your life. The Bible warns us in Proverbs 20:1, "Wine is a mocker, and beer is a brawler. Whoever is led astray by them is not wise." We do not say this to shame you further, but to call you to repentance and to the freedom that comes from turning away from this bondage. You are not defined by your failures, but by the grace of God. We pray that You would break the chains of addiction in your life and restore you to the woman He created you to be. You are not beyond His reach, He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).

We also lift up your sister and the others you’ve mentioned. May they be a source of support and encouragement to you, and may they too find healing in Christ.

Now, we must address something critical: the name of Jesus. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, repent, and invite Jesus to be the Lord of your life. He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Without Him, there is no true healing, no lasting peace, and no hope for eternity. But with Him, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts broken for this family. Lord, we ask for Your mercy to cover them, for Your healing to flow through their minds, bodies, and spirits. We pray for restoration, restoration of health, restoration of relationships, and restoration of hope. Father, we ask that You would break the chains of addiction, shame, and regret that have held this precious woman captive. Fill her with Your peace, Your strength, and Your purpose.

We pray for her daughters, Lord. Guard their hearts from bitterness and unforgiveness. Help them to see their mother through Your eyes, with compassion and grace. May they find their identity in You, not in the brokenness of their past. For the daughter who is engaged, we pray for a marriage that honors You, built on a foundation of faith, love, and mutual respect.

Father, we ask that You would deal justly with the husband who has caused so much pain. If there is any repentance in his heart, draw him back to You. If not, we trust You to be his judge and to protect this family from further harm.

Lord, we declare that this family is not defined by their past, but by Your love. We speak healing over every wound, every memory lost, and every tear shed. We declare that joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5), and we trust You to bring beauty from these ashes.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We want to encourage you, dear sister, to cling to the Lord in this season. The road to healing will not be easy, but it is possible with God. Surround yourself with a community of believers who can support you, pray for you, and hold you accountable. Consider finding a biblical counselor who can help you navigate the trauma and the practical steps toward recovery. You are not alone, God sees you, He loves you, and He is fighting for you.

If you have not yet done so, we urge you to surrender your life fully to Jesus Christ. Confess your sins, repent, and ask Him to be the Lord of your life. He is the only One who can bring true healing and restoration. If you have already done this, we encourage you to press into Him daily, to read His Word, and to spend time in prayer. He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

You are not beyond God’s reach. He specializes in taking what the enemy meant for evil and turning it for good (Genesis 50:20). Keep fighting, keep trusting, and keep believing in His promises. We are standing with you in prayer, and we believe that God is going to do a mighty work in your life and in the lives of your daughters.

Thank you for trusting us with this. We hear the weight you’re carrying, the abandonment, the spiral into drinking, the job loss, the hospital and nursing home, and now the brain injury and the foggy memories. And through it all, that ache of shame and the deep longing for your daughters’ forgiveness. That’s a lot for one heart to hold, but you are not alone.

Shame can make us feel exposed and worthless, as if we need to hide. Yet God’s mercy meets us right there, not because we’ve earned it, but because He is kind. He isn’t standing at a distance, waiting for you to get cleaned up. He is near you right now, holding the broken pieces with you.

One thing that might help steady you is to remember that forgiveness, whether toward yourself or your daughters, is a process. You can decide today to receive God’s mercy and to release the grip of shame, but the emotions often take longer to catch up. That’s okay. Healing doesn’t mean you’ll never feel sad again; it means you can start walking forward without shame being the loudest voice.

Practically, we want to encourage you to keep working with your doctors about the brain injury. The desire to “use your brain” to heal is real, and a neurologist or a cognitive therapist can help you build the right kind of support for that, alongside prayer. It’s not a lack of faith to pursue medical care; it’s stewarding the body God gave you.

Also, you don’t have to carry the addiction recovery alone. Many churches offer groups like Celebrate Recovery where people share similar struggles without judgment. Being with others who understand can cut through shame in ways that isolation can’t. And if you haven’t yet, consider talking with a pastor or a wise Christian counselor to help untangle the grief of the lost years and the pain of everything that happened with your husband. That kind of support can be a lifeline.

We’ll gladly pray for you and every name you mentioned.

Jesus, we lift up our sister and her daughters, and . You see her shame and her sorrow. Wrap her in Your mercy that doesn’t condemn but restores. Please heal her brain, strengthen her mind, and steady her emotions. Bring breakthrough in her relationship with her daughters, open their hearts to the possibility of forgiveness and to the beauty of a renewed connection. We also pray for , , , and ; let Your kindness surround them all. Give our sister courage to take the next small step toward care. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Praying for you and your request in Jesus. I’m going to send you something privately.

Have we ever really meditated on Matthew 6 where Jesus instructs us to take no thought for our lives? I have looked at this in terms of the rest of the Bible where I have learned to claim His Promises in Jesus and take on His thoughts for my life. Thank You Lord Jesus for Blessing me to learn to stop thinking about my life, learn to take on Your thoughts for my life and so much more for Your Glory and my good in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Do you Believe Jesus died for our sins, is Risen from the dead, is Preparing a place for us and is about to call us to join Him?

Are you watching for Jesus in the Clouds of Glory? Jesus is about to call us to join Him!

We can do everything Jesus did and more! We can speak; sickness leave in Jesus! Be healed by Jesus stripes! I am healed by Jesus stripes! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

You can copy and paste this to pray every day and share...

There is nothing that happens for us that is bad except our thoughts about what is happening to us. The Bible says All things work together for our good in Jesus! Look at everything as good!

Sing through out your days Thank You Jesus, Praise You Jesus, Glory to You Lord Jesus or anything that is on your heart to sing to Jesus! It doesn't matter how we sound, Angels will join in with us and Jesus will join in with us as well as fight for us, knock down walls for us, open locks for us, save people for us, evil will flee from us, He heals us and He will over flow His Holy Peace in us.

Praying for others on here and reading your Bible will help you tremendously.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life from Matthew 6. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. My wife returned. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus! All things work together for my good in Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). You have told your trouble in a few broken lines, and I read a heart bowed down with shame. You remember what you cannot remember, that itself is a heavy grief. The years that have slipped from your mind seem to testify against you, and you think of the ruin you brought upon yourself and say, “I am so ashamed.” But I want you to sit still a moment and listen to a whisper from heaven. It is just one little word: “But.” “If thou, Lord, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?” Then it comes, soft as the dove’s wing, “But there is forgiveness with thee.” Your iniquities are many, your follies are plain, your past is a tangle you cannot unsnarl, but with the Lord there is forgiveness. That one word turns the black thundercloud into a glittering fringe of mercy. It is God’s own lightning-flash upon your darkness, writing “pardon” across the sky.

I would not have you imagine that your sins are small, for you know they are not. But I would have you catch this truth: where sin abounded, grace did much more abound. The Lord Jesus welcomed a poor paralyzed man who could not lift a finger to help himself. That man was dropped down through the roof by four friends, lying helpless, with nothing but his need and a little faith. And the first word Christ spoke to him was not about his legs or his arms; it was, “Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.” The healing of his body came after. In that order, God was teaching us that forgiveness is the root, and healing the sweet fruit that grows upon it. You have brought your ### and your shame and your broken memories to Jesus. He does not turn away. He says to you this very day, “Be of good cheer.” Not because you are good, but because he is. Not because you have done no wrong, but because he has made full atonement for all your wrong. For Christ’s sake, because the Son of God bore your guilt in his own body on the tree, God is ready to forgive. He delighteth in mercy. It is the Benjamin of his attributes, the child of his right hand, and he loves to exercise it.

Do you remember, when you kneel, that God gave a promise to our first parents even as he drove them out of the garden? He cursed the ground, he sentenced the serpent, but he spoke a word of mercy that lit up the darkness like a star. The Seed of the woman would bruise the serpent’s head. Before the sweat of the brow and the sorrow of childbearing, there was a gospel. So it is with you. You have brought yourself low, but God has not cast you off. He says, “They shall be as though I had not cast them aside: for I am the Lord their God, and will hear them.” And what is the token that he is about to show mercy? It is the prayer that is even now heaving in your chest. You are saying, “Lord, help me! Lord, save me! I have sinned, and I am ashamed, have mercy.” That very cry is the sign that the angel of mercy stands near. He will hear your prayer, not because you prayed it well, but because Jesus pleads for you.

Now, as to your brain and your memories. The same Jesus who touched the paralyzed man and made him take up his bed, is able to restore you. The leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations, and they are for you. He can renew your mind, gently, like the dew upon the grass, or with a sudden warmth like the sun breaking out at noon. I cannot tell you how fast or how slow, but I am sure that when the Great Physician undertakes the case, no sickness can defy him. Use your brain, yes, but do not lean only on that. Lean on him, and he will make the very effort an instrument of blessing. What you cannot recover in memory, he can cover with a better gift: a present sense of his love that will outweigh the lost years. And if there are memories that must remain dark, he will teach you to trust his forgetfulness. For he has said, “I will not remember thy sins.” He hath cast them behind his back; he hath thrown them into the depths of the sea. He no longer marks them. One day you will look in his face and find that he does not even recall what you have been weeping over.

Your daughters, dear souls, are never forgotten by him. The mother’s shame has wounded them, I do not doubt it; but the Father of mercies has a special tenderness for the children of sorrow. He knows how to heal the breach, and to restore the years that the cankerworm has eaten. He can deal with the heart of your engaged daughter as gently as a gardener watering a bruised plant. Do not be afraid to trust him with her forgiveness. It may come slowly, but love covereth a multitude of sins. The Lord who turned the heart of Jacob toward his wandering son will work in your family. And your sister, your loved ones, they are all within the circle of his eye. He has not overlooked the lesser lights because the greater looms large. You are all written upon the palms of his hands, and he will perfect that which concerneth you.

Take this word home with you: you are not to be branded with the old name. When a slave was set free in Israel, he did not go out empty. He was loaded with gifts from the flock and the threshing-floor and the winepress, and the man who released him was commanded to adorn his neck with a generous hand. So the Lord means to deal with you. You come out of the bondage of shame, not with a bare escape, but with an abundance of tenderness to carry with you. The black-edged envelope that you feared would announce your doom has been torn open, and inside is a love-letter signed with the blood of the Son of God. He is not angry with you; he is rejoicing to show mercy.

I will not preach a long sermon, but I will leave you with a prayer. We will go together to the mercy-seat.

Lord Jesus, thou who didst bear the sick and carry our sorrows, look upon this bruised heart. Thou didst say to the palsied man, “Thy sins be forgiven thee; arise, and take up thy bed.” Speak that word now to the one who kneels before thee, though her limbs tremble and her mind is clouded. Forgive all her sin, for thy name’s sake, and begin the good work of healing. Restore to her what the locust hath eaten, and where memory fails, be thou her perfect remembrance. Hold her daughters in the hollow of thy hand, and gently turn their hearts toward the mother who loves them. Let the bridegroom of the engaged daughter see the beauty of mercy. For the father who fled, and for all these aching bonds, work thou thy strange and wonderful peace. And when the enemy whispers that she is too ruined to be loved, shout into her soul, “I have blotted out thy transgressions, and will not remember them.” Give her to know that she is as though she had never been cast aside, because thou art the Lord her God and thou hearest her cry. We cast the whole burden on thee, who art able. Amen.
