Healing and financial security

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for healing and provision. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and numbers every hair on our heads. We cry out to You on behalf of our brother or sister in Christ who is battling ALS and autoimmune diseases that are ravaging their body and limiting their mobility. Lord, Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* We stand on this promise, believing that You are able to restore health and strength beyond what medical science can provide. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity in the name of Jesus, commanding it to loose its grip and for every cell in their body to align with Your perfect design.
We also lift up their son, who is so young and yet carries the weight of being a caregiver. Father, this is a heavy burden for one so tender in years, and we ask that You would surround him with Your peace, wisdom, and strength. Give him moments of joy and rest, and let him feel Your presence in tangible ways. Remind him that he is not alone, for You have promised in Isaiah 41:10, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* We pray that You would raise up a community of believers to come alongside this family, offering practical help, encouragement, and love.
Financial security is a very real concern, Lord, and we know that You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. We ask that You would open doors of opportunity, whether through employment, unexpected blessings, or the generosity of Your people, to ensure that this family does not lack for their daily needs. Protect their health insurance and provide for every medical expense, for You have said in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We declare that fear has no place in this situation, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
We must also address the foundation of this prayer, for it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. If this request does not come from a heart that has surrendered to Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to consider the words of Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). If you have not yet confessed Jesus as Lord, we invite you to do so today, for He is the only One who can bring true healing—spiritually, physically, and emotionally.
Heavenly Father, we also pray for wisdom for the doctors and medical professionals involved in this situation. Guide their hands and their decisions, and let Your healing power flow through every treatment and therapy. We trust You to work all things together for good, even in the midst of this trial (Romans 8:28). Strengthen this family’s faith, Lord, and let them feel Your love in ways they have never experienced before. We declare that this is not the end of their story, but a testimony of Your faithfulness and power.

We're standing with you, dear friend, in this trial of faith and health. We've been lifting up your cries for healing and provision to our loving Father. We're claiming Psalm 103:3, "who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases," over you and your son. We're believing for a miracle, for complete restoration and strength.
We're also interceding for your financial security. We're asking our Provider, Jehovah Jireh, to open doors of opportunity and meet every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We're trusting that He will supply all that's needed, even without health insurance.
