We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you and your son before our Heavenly Father, the Great Physician. We know the pain of physical affliction and the burden of financial struggle, but we also know the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases. By His stripes, you are healed (Isaiah 53:5). The name of Jesus is above every name, including HIV, chronic pain, and financial lack. There is no sickness, no disease, and no spirit of poverty that can stand against the authority of His name.

First, we must address the source of these afflictions. Scripture tells us that sickness and oppression can sometimes be the result of generational iniquity or unconfessed sin (Exodus 20:5, Psalm 38:3-4). We do not say this to condemn, but to invite you into a place of repentance and freedom. Have you or your ancestors been involved in idol worship, witchcraft, or sexual immorality? Have you held onto bitterness, unforgiveness, or ungodly soul ties? The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came to give life abundantly. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, poverty, and oppression operating in your lives in the mighty name of Jesus. We break every generational curse and command every evil assignment to be dismantled now.

For your son, we declare that the blood of Jesus is more powerful than any virus. We speak to the HIV in his body and command it to die, in Jesus’ name. We release the healing virtue of Christ into every cell, every organ, and every system of his body. "He himself took our infirmities, and bore our sicknesses" (Matthew 8:17). We pray that the immune system God designed in him would be restored and strengthened. We also rebuke any spirit of fear or shame that may be trying to take root in his heart. You are not defined by this diagnosis, you are defined by the love of Christ and the destiny He has for you.

For your hips, legs, and the fungal infection, we declare restoration. The Lord is your healer (Exodus 15:26), and we refuse to accept the report of man. We speak to your bones: be strengthened and aligned according to God’s perfect design. We speak to your muscles, tendons, and joints: be loosed from pain and inflammation. We command the fungal infection to dry up and disappear, for "the Lord will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing; thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness" (Psalm 41:3). We also pray for divine provision for the surgery you were recommended. The same God who heals can also provide. We declare that money will come to you supernaturally, that doors of opportunity will open, and that your business will flourish as you seek first the kingdom of God (Matthew 6:33).

We must also address the financial struggle you are facing. The enemy wants to keep you in lack, but God desires to bless you abundantly. We rebuke the spirit of poverty and lack in your life. We break every curse of financial struggle and declare that you are a lender, not a borrower (Deuteronomy 28:12). We pray that God would open the windows of heaven over your life and pour out a blessing that you will not have room enough to receive (Malachi 3:10). We also encourage you to examine your heart and your business practices. Are you operating with integrity? Are you tithing and giving generously? The Lord loves a cheerful giver (2 Corinthians 9:7), and He promises to bless those who honor Him with their finances.

We also want to gently address the mention of "divine application" in your request. While we believe in the power of prayer and God’s supernatural intervention, we must be careful not to treat God like a vending machine or a magical formula. Healing and provision come through faith in Jesus Christ, not through rituals, anointing oils, or special prayers. We encourage you to seek a personal relationship with Jesus, if you have not already, and to trust in His finished work on the cross. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we invite you to do so today. Confess your sins, repent, and ask Jesus to be the Lord of your life. He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Now, let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Healer, Provider, and Deliverer. We thank You for the blood of Jesus that was shed for our healing and wholeness. Father, we also pray for financial breakthrough. We rebuke the spirit of poverty and lack in their lives. Open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that they will not have room enough to receive. Provide for the surgery that needs and restore her business to flourishing. Let Your abundance flow in their lives as they seek You first.

We pray for repentance and deliverance from any generational iniquity or unconfessed sin. Cleanse them, Lord, and set them free from every chain. We declare that they are free in Christ Jesus.

Finally, Lord, we pray for their salvation if they have not yet surrendered their lives to You. Draw them close to You, reveal Your love to them, and let them experience the fullness of life that only You can give.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We believe that You are working even now, and we declare that and her son are healed, delivered, and restored. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're praying with you for God's healing touch, for your hips, for the infection, for your legs to be restored. We're asking Him to provide for your son and to bring breakthrough where money has been tight. But we also want to quietly encourage you not to carry this alone. If surgery was recommended, perhaps your church community or a Christian medical assistance fund could help explore options; sometimes help appears when we let trusted brothers and sisters know the need. And because you mentioned not knowing the source of the affliction, it may be wise to ask a mature pastor or a prayer team to walk with you, not because we presume anything, but because gentle, prayerful discernment can bring clarity and peace even when answers aren’t immediate.

For now, we simply lift you both to the One who sees your struggle and cares.

Lord Jesus, we bring this dear brother and his son to You. Touch their bodies with Your healing power, restore his hips, legs, and skin, and bring health and strength to his son. Break the grip of chronic illness and release them from every oppression. Where finances have been devoured, open a door of provision and stability. Give them courage to keep seeking good medical care and the wisdom to know what steps to take next. Surround them with a faithful community that will hold them up in prayer and practical support. We place them in Your hands, trusting Your love and mercy. Amen.

The multitude of your bones ache with a strong pain, and the affliction has spread to your business and your means. You say you do not know from where it is coming, but you ask for healing by divine application. Know this, then, true deliverance is not dispensed like a medicine measured from a bottle; it comes from the hand of the Lord alone. He brought Israel forth from Egypt, and He alone brought them, they did not share the honor, but they willingly moved when He called. Even so, He must work the healing of your bones, your skin, and your son’s body. The hand and outstretched arm of Jehovah must do it, and He will not share that honor with any supposed merit of yours.

Yet consider this: the very pain that passes through your veins like a road for the hot feet of suffering is used by Him as a severe mercy. It wraps up within itself a call. Elihu spoke truly that a man is chastened with pain upon his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong pain. God speaks once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not. Perhaps your business fails and your money flies away so that you might at last perceive His voice and find a ransom. And there is a ransom. God has not only invented a way, He has found it. It is a gift of divine love, not a loan to be repaid, but free grace alone. If you ever rise from this despondency, you will dare to take not an atom of the honor. You will know you can do nothing.

As for the deliverance you seek, let your heart be fixed on the manner of it. You were recommended for surgery but have no money and feel the weight of age closing the door. The ribald throng around the cross cried, “Let him deliver him now,” thinking deliverance must mean the cross torn up from the earth. But God’s ways of deliverance are His own. For our Lord Jesus, it was not deliverance to come down from the tree; it was deliverance to die upon it. From the pangs of His death has come the joy of life to His redeemed. It is not God’s will that every mountain should be leveled, but that we should be the stronger for climbing the Hill Difficulty. The deliverance He vouchsafes to you may be of the same kind as that vouchsafed to the Only Begotten, strength to endure until the healing comes in His own perfect time and way.

The clock of mercy has already struck in heaven the hour and moment of His purpose for you. You long for healing, yet you are asking for the manifestation before the trust. That is not the way of the Physician of souls. When the ten lepers stood afar off and cried, He did not make them whole where they stood. He said, “Go, shew yourselves unto the priests.” They started on their walk before they felt the healing, but as they were going, they were cleansed. Trust Christ now. Trust Him for this very thing, before you see any good thing in your flesh, and you shall not be long before you feel His blessed power.

And remember, there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ. Even the leaves of the Tree of Life are for healing. The least thing about Christ has virtue in it. A touch of His garment’s hem, a glance from His eye, a whispered prayer in the midnight, these leaves change the lifeblood and make the nature other than it was. Do not look so much at the multitude of your diseases as at the great Conduit Head from which streams of healing flow. He speaks of your restoration as if it were quite sure to be. Jesus, the Beloved of the Father, has prayed for His people, and He will win His suit with God. He will lift you from among the siftings where the adversary has thrown you.

There is a higher restoration even than the mending of hip bones and the cleansing of blood. The sweetest note in the song of deliverance is that God has brought you forth from a worse captivity. The archers of sin and despair may have shot their arrows deep, and the reprover in your conscience may have touched every hidden wound, bringing you to the point of crying that God’s ear is shut. It is not so. Cross your Jabbok in fear and trembling, and you may yet find your Esau running to meet you with a kiss. Your deliverance from every bondage, including that of the fear of poverty and early death, is attended with enrichment, silver and gold of another kind, peace that the world cannot give, and a heart placed upon the things above.

One day, in your riper years, you may tell a younger generation how the Lord delivered you. Those bones which ache now, even if they were laid in the grave and the place of the old break was made thicker and stronger, will rise again in perfect restoration. There shall be no more pain. The Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in His wings for every soul that now sits in the midnight of despair. Therefore, do not wander. There is no good in it. Come back to Him; there is such peace, such rest. Pledge yourself wholly to Him near His cross. Give your son into His hands. Walk now in the path of His commands, and you shall find that as you go, He brings you forth.

You bring your pains before God, and that is good, for this house is a spiritual surgery. Whatever wounds we carry from the world, here we seek healing, not to gather fresh ones, but to be cleansed of the old. Come, then, and let us apply the medicine of prayer and the hearing of the word with careful attention. For it is not a bare hearing that saves, but a hearing that sinks deep and bears fruit in patience.

Do not lose heart under the weight of your hips, your legs, the long fungus, or your son’s illness. I have seen many who seemed insensible to ten sermons yet were suddenly converted by one. A tree may withstand many blows but fall at last by a single stroke, not because of that stroke alone, but because of all that went before. So keep coming, keep listening, keep crying out, and the fruit will appear in God’s time.

Consider the righteous Joseph: his mistress sought to ruin him, yet her very scheming placed him in safety. The prison became a refuge from a wild beast, and what seemed disaster was God’s way of bringing him near. So too with your afflictions. The lack of money, the failing business, the body breaking down, these are not signs that God has forgotten you. They may be the very means by which He draws you to cling to Him alone. St. Paul took pleasure in infirmities, in necessities, in distresses, because when he was weak, then Christ’s power rested upon him. The Lord Himself told us, “In the world you shall have tribulation.” It is through many trials that we enter the kingdom.

I recall a story told to me by a trustworthy person. A maidservant, facing great calamity, came to a woman of faith and laid upon her a most awful adjuration: “So may you see Christ at the Day of Judgment, as you do not neglect my petition.” That adjuration, though briefly forgotten, returned to the woman’s mind and pricked her heart, and she went with all earnestness to help. That very night, she saw the heavens opened and Christ Himself. Such power has earnest prayer, such weight has a plea that reaches toward the judgment seat. Bring your request with that same urgency, not only to me but to the Lord Himself, and He will incline His ear.

Do not say, “I do not know where this is coming from.” Rather know that the God who orders all things can turn your very hurts to your benefit. Where the body fails and money flees, the soul may learn to store up treasure in heaven. Continue in your business as you are able, but set your hope not on uncertain riches but on the living God. For the grace that comes with spiritual gift makes every hardship light; when that grace fortifies us, we feel no distress though friends forsake us and calamity overtakes us.

We shall pray for your healing by divine application, that God may restore your hips and make surgery unnecessary, that He may rebuke the fungus and all affliction, and that your son may know His healing touch. But above all, we pray that through this furnace you may come forth as gold, with faith refined and love made perfect. If love be absent, even gifts of healing and a perfect life profit nothing. So seek not only deliverance from pain, but deliverance from all worldly attachments, that you may cling to Christ alone.

Come often to the surgery of the church. Bring your son. Hear the word with carefulness, and let it take root. For what you suffer now is preparing for you an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison. The Master is near, and His grace is sufficient.

Your words reach into a place of deep and long suffering. Pain in the hips and legs, fungal afflictions years old, the weight of a son living with HIV, the stress of a business under strain and money that slips away, none of this is hidden from the Lord who sees. It is not wrong to feel overwhelmed. It is not faithless to wonder where these things come from. The honest cry for healing and deliverance is welcomed at the throne of grace.

In prayer, a powerful truth emerges: God desires to become to you exactly what you need in this season. When healing is the cry, He reveals Himself as Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals. Not a distant power to be convinced, but a Father who already knows what you have need of before you speak a word. Our asking is not to inform Him of what we lack; it is to open our hearts to receive from His hand and to align ourselves with His will. So pray boldly, but do not pray only for a specific sum of money or a single surgery. Ask the Lord to supply what He knows you truly need, for He sees the eternal picture while we often fix our eyes on the temporary relief. He may have a way of restoration that surpasses what you can presently imagine.

Consider the promise that the Sun of Righteousness will arise with healing in His wings. It speaks of a new day springing forth, the dawn of divine intervention. That healing power was demonstrated wherever Jesus went. Crowds pressed upon Him, many seeking only the cure for their bodies. Yet He always invited them to something deeper, the Healer Himself, not merely the healing. If we only receive a touch for the flesh and do not embrace the One who gives it, we may find ourselves empty again. Let your prayer be, “Lord, become for me the Healer. Let me know You in this trial. Restore my body, but take full possession of my heart.”

The Spirit who anointed Jesus to heal the sick and to set the oppressed free is the same Spirit offered to you. Wait upon the Lord. Ask for a fresh filling of the Holy Spirit. Be led by Him rather than driven by panic over finances or dread of what tomorrow holds. There are lives so dominated by the urgent need that they never stop to receive the power to stand. Yet the Spirit’s anointing makes us effective, not just in securing what we lack, but in walking through the fire without being consumed.

I do not make light of the reality you face. One unwise choice or circumstance beyond our control can bring a lifetime of pain. But do not let past decisions or present affliction dig a rut so deep it becomes a grave of hope. The only difference between a rut and a grave is staying in it. Rise each day and bring your need before the Lord, not as one who must twist His arm by persistence, but as a child who trusts that her Father’s chief concern is eternal good. Even now, He works in ways you cannot trace, preparing a future where the Son of Righteousness reigns over every diseased cell and every weary bone.

Lift your heart with me: Father, You are the Lord who heals. Look upon this mother and her son. In the name of Jesus, restore her hips and legs, drive out every infection, and bring healing to her son’s body. Break the cycle of financial drain and let Your provision flow. But above all, fill them with Your Spirit and make them whole in Your presence. Let them know the Healer, not just the healing. Amen.
