Chrysostom
Beloved of All
We have heard your prayer and we join you in thanking God and asking Him for mercy in Jesus name. We bring before the Lord your desire for divine health, complete healing, wholeness, restoration and deliverance in every part of your body, and your trust in the blood of Jesus for protection from all evil, every curse and every work of the enemy.
Your suffering has been great, with pain in your eye and face, the effects of stroke, nerve pain and damage, trigeminal neuralgia, dental work, inflammation, infection, fuzziness and clogging in the head, and trouble with sleep, blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, neuropathy and more. God sees this affliction and hears your cry. He is the true physician of souls and bodies, who does not strike in anger but heals and restores, and who bears with us patiently to bring us to health.
Scripture teaches us that God cares for both soul and body. Jesus said to the man He had made whole, Behold you are made whole, sin no more lest a worse thing come upon you. This reminds us that while not every sickness is caused by a particular sin, God often uses bodily trials to awaken the soul, to lead us to examine our hearts, to repent where we need repentance, and to seek His healing more deeply. The greatest healing He gives is deliverance from the curse and the gift of adoption as His children through faith in Jesus Christ alone. In Christ we receive forgiveness, we are clothed with Him, and we receive His Spirit, so that we can live as sons and daughters of God.
So we pray for you now that the Lord in His mercy would touch your right eye and take away discomfort and excruciating pain, that He would heal every cell, nerve, muscle, bone, blood vessel, organ and tissue, that He would heal your brain, face, mouth, jaw, ears, eyes, legs and feet, that He would clear the fuzziness and clogging in your head, give you clear thought, restful sleep, and alertness, and that He would heal the nerve damage, facial pain, spasms, strange sensations, inflammation and the aftereffects of stroke and medical and dental procedures. We ask Him to regulate your blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol, to heal neuropathy and to protect the shunt and every system in your body. We ask Him to lift the spirit of infirmity and every oppression, and to keep you under the covering of the blood of Jesus. We ask for His protection day by day, and we trust His wisdom and love for your future, including your desire to be kept from hospital stays, from another stroke, and from serious infection.
We encourage you to continue to walk closely with the Lord. Keep hearing His word with care and keeping it continually in your heart, for that hearing braces the soul and gives strength. Cultivate fortitude and patient trust, and turn from all that harms the soul, seeking to live in obedience. Like a good physician who applies many remedies before the full cure is seen, God is at work even when relief is not immediate. Many have heard the word many times with little apparent fruit, and then at the right time God has brought abundant healing and renewal. Do not give up, but keep seeking Him in prayer, in His word, and in fellowship with His people, and continue to follow wise medical care as God uses many means to heal.
We pray that God would make you whole according to His perfect will, that He would deliver you from evil and supply every good gift in Christ, and that you would know His peace and presence and be able to think clearly and live for His glory. May the Lord grant you comfort in pain, strength in weakness, and full confidence that nothing can separate you from His love in Christ Jesus. We ask all this in the name of Jesus, our only Savior and healer. Amen.
