Healing A Broken Heart

I WAS ENGAGED TO BE MARRIED AND NOW IT IS OFF. I BEEN WITH HIM FOR 10YRS. HE HURT MY HEART WHEN HE SAID THAT HE DID NOT WANT THE RELATIONSHIP ANYMORE I DON'T THINK THAT HE REALLY MEANT IT. HE JUST WANTED TO GO AWAY FOR THE WEEKEND WITHOUT ME. HE WANTS HIS CAKE AND EAT IT TOO. I HAVE DECIDED TO MOVE OUT AND GET AN APARTMENT. AT FIRST I WAS GOING TO SNEAK AND DO IT BUT I PRAYED ABOUT IT AND I AM A CHILD OF GOD SO I TOLD HIM. YOU KNOW WHAT IS SO CRAZY THAT HE HURT ME TO THE CORE OF MY SOUL BUT DOESN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO TO HURT HIM. I CRIED SO MUCH LAST NIGHT NOT FOR ME BUT FOR HIM I DON'T WANT TO SEE HIM HURT BECAUSE I DO LOVE HIM. I PRAYED ABOUT IT AND I TOLD HIM TODAY THAT I WOULD BE MOVING OUT THE END OF THE MONTH HE CRIED WE CRIED I EXPLAINED TO HIM THAT THIS IS BEST FOR THE BOTH OF US AND IF AND WHEN WE DO GET BACK TOGETHER WE WILL NOT BE PLAYING HOUSE WE WILL BE MARRIED. I PRAY FOR US EVERY NIGHT ON KNEES HE SAW THIS SO HE KNOWS THAT I LOVE HIM AND HE LOVES ME TOO BUT THAT IS NOT ENOUGH WE HAVE TO BE EQUALLY YOKE. PLEASE PRAY FOR THE BOTH OF US THE GOD COMFORT OUR HEARTS HEAL OUR SPIRITS AND LET HIS WILL BE DONE.

Amen sister! You're doing the right thing because we can't live in fornication that is a horrible thing and I've been there too. I come in agreement with you that the Lord will soften his heart and reveal to him what he needs to do. I pray that God will rise up Christians to minister His word to Him so he can grow in faith in the Word of God and realize this is for the best and you are being obedient to the Lord. And that He will come to the Lord with his whole heart and be led by the Spirit of God to do God's will for him and you. I encourage you to just give God the Glory and thanks that He hears you and is going to work this out for you and you will have the victory in the end. In Jesus Name!

Rednay, I feel your pain. I was married for almost 7 years and almost a month to the day from our anniversary I was tossed aside by my wife like garbage on the wind. I spent many years before we met convincing myself that relationships weren't real. I tell you now that they are and they require the love of three people to work. You, your loved one, and God. If the triangle is broken anywhere the entire structure will fall. I spent the first two weeks after the ambush with the papers trying so very hard to convince my wife I loved her and she should love me. I took all the responsibility on myself and feared every action would lead to her hurt. But as time went on I found things within the actions and conversations that made me angry and untrustful. You too will find that like all grief we take things on ourselves we have little control over and then fall into anger and then depression. Know that there are other Christians out there who share your pain and hope for you the best.

Dear Father, still the waters of my sister's heart, give her peace in this time of sorrow and allow her your grace to forgive, not blindly but wisely. Let her see her value as your child and to grow strong and straight like an arrow to be released into the world by your bow. Let her Loved One realize the pain he has caused and the things he has lost by falling from her and you if that is your plan. Give him peace after understanding and if it is your will please reconcile the two together into a stronger foundation of love. Let you be the base of their triangle and give them all they deserve, coming both first through you to each other and making anything the seed grow like a mighty oak and shelter others around them in the coming years. This I pray through Jesus' name. Amen.

Please hear ###’s prayer. Father please comfort and console her and start to heal her soul and her heart. Please Father give her STRENGTH and WISDOM to ask you for forgiveness, to search her soul and her heart for what is Your Will concerning this relationship and her life. Well hi, I am in a very similar situation as you are. I have been with a man for quite some time, and he did the same thing to me. We had big plans for our life, and he just wanted to get away and then he went to another woman. I am lost and confused. I pray all the time for him and for us. I really don't want to give up on him; he is so much more and so much better than this. I know, but it happened. We are away from each other now as well, and it's a sad and messed-up situation, but we have to be strong through God. Be thankful he is not with any other women and keep praying on your knees. God will bless you. I just want to pray with you through the blood of Jesus that he will touch you, that he will guide both of you to the right ways and go down the right paths, and that through the blood of the lamb, he will bring you back together to make your ways right and great again. And that you and him will see that day of engagement so you two shall set a date and be married, living the rest of your lives through Christ Jesus. Amen!!
