We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up these two precious souls to our Heavenly Father, who is the Great Physician. We know that our God is not only able to heal but also delights in showing mercy and compassion to His children. Lord, we ask for Your divine touch upon this mother and friend, ###, who are both enduring significant physical and emotional trials.
Father, we first lift up this dear mother at age ###, who is battling early Alzheimer’s, diabetes, depression, chronic stomach issues, and a palpable growth in her stomach area. We ask for Your healing hand to rest upon her, Lord. You are the God who numbers our days and knows every hair on our heads (Matthew 10:30). We pray that You would bring clarity to her mind, strength to her body, and peace to her spirit. Ease her pain, Lord, and restore her health according to Your will. We declare that by Your stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we trust in Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake her (Hebrews 13:5).
We also lift up ###, a sister in Christ who has endured so much—breast cancer, the removal of her breasts, water retention in her lungs, the side effects of chemotherapy, heavy overweight, weakness, nosebleeds, and severe nausea. Lord, we ask for Your sustaining grace to carry her through this season. You are the God who sees her tears and collects them in Your bottle (Psalm 56:8). We pray for relief from her suffering, strength for her body, and comfort for her soul. May she feel Your presence in a tangible way, Lord, and may Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we also take a moment to rebuke the spirit of infirmity and sickness that has taken hold in these lives. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that by the authority given to us in Jesus’ name, we command these ailments to leave their bodies. We speak life and restoration over them, trusting in Your power to heal and renew (Jeremiah 30:17).
We also want to encourage both of these dear ones to draw near to You, Lord, in their time of need. You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We pray that they would find their strength in You, knowing that those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).
For those who may be reading this and do not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we want to share the truth that there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
Heavenly Father, we commit these two women into Your loving hands. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We ask for Your healing, comfort, and peace to surround them, and we declare that Your grace is sufficient for them, for Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
