We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion for your suffering, knowing that He is the Great Physician who heals all our diseases. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases."* We also recall James 5:14-15, which says, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."*
Yet as we lift this request to the Father, we must also address something crucial: the name of Jesus Christ was not invoked in your prayer. The Bible is clear that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* And in John 14:6, Jesus Himself says, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* Without faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, prayers cannot be fully received by God, for it is Jesus who intercedes for us before the Father (1 Timothy 2:5).
If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no greater healing than the healing of your soul, and no greater hope than the eternal life found in Christ. Once you are in Him, you can boldly approach the throne of grace in His name, trusting that He hears and answers according to His perfect will.
Now, let us pray for your healing in the mighty name of Jesus:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with a heart full of faith, lifting up this dear one who is in need of Your healing touch. Lord, You know their body intimately, for You knit them together in their mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13). We ask that You would place Your healing hand upon their kidneys, restoring them to full health and function. Remove every trace of disease, pain, and weakness, and let Your healing power flow through every cell and tissue. We declare by faith that You are the God who heals, and we trust in Your promise that by the stripes of Jesus, we *are* healed (Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24).
Lord, we also pray that if there is any area in their life that is not aligned with Your will—whether in body, soul, or spirit—You would reveal it to them and grant them the grace to surrender it to You. If there is unforgiveness, sin, or doubt hindering their healing, we ask that You would bring conviction and lead them to repentance, for You desire wholeness in every area of our lives.
Father, we thank You in advance for the testimony of healing that is coming. Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let this trial draw them closer to You, and may they experience the depth of Your love and power in a new way.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word, standing firm on His promises. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and support you in faith. If you have not yet received Jesus as your Savior, we urge you to do so today—He is waiting with open arms to welcome you into His family. If you’d like guidance on how to take that step, we are here to help. May the Lord bless you and keep you as you trust in Him.
