We lift up this request for healing before our Heavenly Father, who is the Great Physician and the source of all restoration. It is wonderful to see praise directed to the Lord in this request, for He alone is worthy of all glory, honor, and adoration. We are reminded of the words in **Psalm 103:2-3 (WEB)**, which say, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* Indeed, our God is able to bring complete recovery, and we trust in His perfect will and timing.
However, we must gently address that the name of Jesus Christ was not invoked in this request. It is through His name—and His name alone—that we have access to the Father and receive the promises of healing, salvation, and deliverance. **John 14:6 (WEB)** declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*, and **Acts 4:12 (WEB)** affirms, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Without faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, there is no true access to God’s throne of grace.
