We join with you in bringing these needs before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus, and we thank you for calling upon His name, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and it is in His name we are saved and heard. As it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son John 14:13.
We lift up your vision and the difficulties you are experiencing with driving while managing diabetes, your knee pain, and the weakness in your arm for which you will soon begin physical therapy. We pray for the Lord's healing touch upon your body and for wisdom for your doctors and therapists. We are reminded that He is the Lord who heals us Exodus 15:26 and that He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We claim the promise that by his stripes we are healed Isaiah 53:5 and we ask that God would restore health to you and heal you of your wounds Jeremiah 30:17. We also pray for grace and discipline as you steward your body, which is a temple of the Holy Spirit 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, to follow medical counsel regarding diabetes, to care for your diet and health, and to trust God for strength day by day, for He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might Isaiah 40:29.
We also join you in praying for protection over your weekend and over your driving and your vehicles and your loved ones. We ask for the Lord's covering and keeping, for He will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more Psalm 121:7-8. We pray that He would grant you clear vision, steady hands, and alertness on the road, and that His angels would watch over you. We pray that the blood of Jesus, which was shed for our redemption and forgiveness, would be your confidence and peace, for In him we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses Ephesians 1:7.
We also stand with you in your prayer for those who oppose you and oppose the Lord. Your heart to see them convicted, saved, and running to Jesus for mercy is Christlike and honors God, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Timothy 2:4. We pray with you that God would convict them by His Holy Spirit and draw them to repentance, for God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9. We pray as we are commanded to Bless those who persecute you; bless, and do not curse Romans 12:14 and to love our enemies and pray for those who mistreat us Matthew 5:44, that the Lord would mightily save them and turn their hearts to Himself.
So we pray together:
Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus we bring our dear one before You. Lord, touch their eyes and restore their vision, ease the burden of diabetes upon their body, and stabilize their health. Take away the pain in their knee and strengthen their arm. Bless the physical therapy ahead and give skill and compassion to those providing care. Grant Your protection over every mile driven this weekend, over every vehicle and every loved one entrusted to Your care. Keep them safe from harm and accident and let Your peace guard their hearts. And Father, we ask You to move powerfully upon those who stand as enemies against You. Convict them of sin, open their eyes to the truth of the gospel, and grant them repentance that they may run to Your mercy and be saved. Let Your will be done in all these things. We ask this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
