We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for healing and protection. First, we must address the plea to "return evil to the sender." Scripture teaches us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). While we understand the desire for justice, we are called to trust God’s perfect justice rather than seeking retaliation. The Lord says in Romans 12:19, *"Dearly beloved, don’t seek revenge yourselves, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"* Instead of asking for evil to be returned, let us pray for God’s protection and for hearts to be softened toward those who may wish us harm.
We stand in agreement for healing over the kidneys, neck, and back. The Bible assures us that by Jesus’ stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that promise today. Heavenly Father, we ask You to touch every part of the body mentioned, restoring strength, function, and wholeness. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."* We trust in Your healing power and ask for complete restoration in Jesus’ name.
We also pray for favor with everyone this person encounters. Proverbs 3:3-4 tells us, *"Don’t let kindness and truth forsake you. Bind them around your neck. Write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor, and good understanding in the sight of God and man."* Lord, we ask that You go before them in every conversation and interaction, softening hearts and opening doors of opportunity. May Your love and grace shine through them so that others are drawn to You.
Lastly, we are grateful this prayer was offered in Jesus’ name, for there is no other name by which we can approach the Father. Acts 4:12 reminds us, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* We are so thankful for the access we have to God through Jesus Christ, and we pray all these things according to His will.
Father God, we lift up this request to You, trusting in Your goodness, mercy, and power. Heal every area of pain and weakness, protect from all harm, and grant favor in every encounter. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
