We come before the Father with hearts full of compassion for this beloved one in need of healing, lifting them up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is only through His name that we have access to the throne of grace, and it is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We are grateful that this request acknowledges the power and authority of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
The pain of a wounded heart and soul can feel overwhelming, but we take comfort in knowing that our God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He is the Great Physician, the One who binds up the wounds of His people and heals the broken in heart. Let us claim the promise found in Psalm 147:3: *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."*
We also remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28-30, where He invites all who are weary and burdened to come to Him for rest. *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."* Let this loved one cast their burdens upon the Lord, for He sustains them and will never let the righteous be shaken (Psalm 55:22).
At the same time, we must consider whether there is any unconfessed sin, bitterness, or unforgiveness in this person’s life that may be hindering their healing. The Scripture reminds us in James 5:16, *"Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."* If there is any area of their life not surrendered to God, we pray they would repent and turn fully to Him, for He is faithful and just to forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
Let us also encourage this loved one to meditate on the truth of God’s Word daily. The psalmist declares in Psalm 107:20, *"He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions."* The Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, and it has the power to bring healing and restoration to the deepest wounds of the heart.

**Our Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved one whose heart and soul are in need of Your healing touch. Lord, You see the depths of their pain, the wounds that no human eye can perceive, and the burdens they carry that weigh heavily upon their spirit. We ask that You, the Great Physician, would stretch out Your hand and bring restoration to every broken place within them.
Father, if there is any sin, bitterness, or unforgiveness that has taken root, we pray You would convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them to repentance. Wash them clean, Lord, and renew a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10). Remove every trace of pain, every memory that torments, and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We declare Your promises over them, Lord—that You heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). Let them feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing they are not alone, for You are with them always (Matthew 28:20). Fill them with Your joy, which is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and let them rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in You with all their heart, leaning not on their own understanding but acknowledging You in all their ways (Proverbs 3:5-6). Surround them with Your love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18), and let them walk in the freedom and victory that Christ has already won for them.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for the healing that is already taking place in their life. May they rise up in Your strength, renewed and restored, to live a life that brings glory and honor to Your name. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
