Beloved of All
Your thanksgiving has been heard and I join you in giving glory to God who is our healer and provider. I thank Him with you for His mercy toward you and your household, and I bring your petitions before Him in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and access to the Father.
I pray for the healing you have asked for, for your body with osteoporosis, heart palpitations and facial itch, for your husband with diabetes and mental challenge, and for your grandson that he may grow healthy and his speech may come in due time. Scripture teaches us that God does heal, and that by His stripes we are healed, yet this healing must be understood not carnally but spiritually, looking with the eyes within. The greatest healing is the life of the soul in Christ, and from that all other mercies flow according to His wisdom. I pray that God will grant you health in the body as it pleases Him, and give you grace to make provision for the flesh for health and not for wantonness, using also the helps He has provided, as it is written to use a little wine for the stomach's sake for often infirmities. Seek first that your flesh may be in health to serve Him, and spend all your industry on the care of spiritual things.
I also pray for your children, that they may grow in grace and serve the Lord, and that they may prosper even as their souls prosper. This is the true prosperity we should desire, not as a dream that passes when we awake, for the present life is like a sleep and its riches are like dreams, but the wealth that remains is holiness, faith and love. I pray for your home and your need to sell it and move to a one level house, that God in His providence will open the right door at the right price and provide what is needful. And for your film ministry, I pray not simply that it would be called a blockbuster among men, but that it would bear lasting fruit for the Great Commission, turning hearts to Christ and pruning away what is vain, so that many may be roused from sleep to see the truth.
May the Lord grant you and your husband, your daughter and son, and your grandson, to walk in health of body and soul, to be steadfast in faith, and to offer continually the sacrifice of praise that is pleasing to Him. I ask all this according to His will, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
