We lift you up before the Lord with heavy hearts, knowing the deep pain that comes from the ending of a marriage. The wounds of betrayal, abandonment, or brokenness can feel unbearable, but we stand with you in faith, believing that God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). The Lord sees your tears, collects them in His bottle, and records them in His book (Psalm 56:8). He is not distant from your suffering—He is with you, even in the valley of shadows, and He promises to restore what has been lost.
We rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness that may be trying to take root in your heart. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Your identity is not defined by this season of pain; you are a beloved child of God, redeemed by the blood of Christ, and called to walk in freedom. We declare that the chains of trauma are broken in the name of Jesus, and we pray that His healing balm would soothe your soul.
We also lift up your need for provision. The Lord is your Shepherd, and He promises that you shall not want (Psalm 23:1). He knows every need before you even ask, and He is faithful to provide. We pray that He would open doors of opportunity, supply your every need according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), and give you wisdom in managing what He entrusts to you. Trust in Him, for He has never failed those who seek Him with all their heart.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who bore our griefs and carried our sorrows (Isaiah 53:4). We ask that You would heal the deep wounds in [this dear one’s] heart. Pour out Your Holy Spirit like oil over the broken places, bringing comfort, peace, and restoration. Mend what has been torn, strengthen what has been weakened, and replace the ashes of sorrow with the beauty of Your joy (Isaiah 61:3). We declare that the trauma of this season will not define their future—You will.
Lord, we also pray for Your provision to flow mightily. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who sees and provides. Meet every financial, emotional, and spiritual need according to Your perfect will. Give wisdom in decisions, favor in circumstances, and a deep trust in Your faithfulness. Let them experience Your love in tangible ways, knowing that You are their Provider, their Protector, and their Peace.
We rebuke any lies of the enemy that may be whispering that healing is impossible or that provision will run out. The truth is that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). We declare that this season of pain will be turned into a testimony of Your faithfulness. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand at work in every area of their life.
Finally, we pray that as healing comes, You would prepare their heart for the future You have planned. Whether that includes a godly marriage in the future or a life of singleness devoted to Your service, we ask that You align their desires with Your will. Let them walk in purity, holiness, and trust in You alone. May they find their ultimate satisfaction in Christ, who is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8).
We stand in agreement with this dear one, believing that God is doing a new thing in their life (Isaiah 43:19). Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and for the healing that is already on the way. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
