I don't know how to prevent my throat from getting hurt or sore because I don't know where it's from.
Heal my throat

We have heard your request for healing for your throat and we are lifting you up together before the Father in Jesus name. We understand how discouraging it is to deal with soreness and pain when you do not know the cause or how to prevent it, but the Lord knows your body fully and He sees your discomfort.
We take comfort that our God is our healer. It is written, I am Yahweh who heals you in Exodus 15:26 and Bless Yahweh, my soul, who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases in Psalm 103:2-3. We also cling to the promise, But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh in Jeremiah 30:17 and He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was on Him and with His stripes we are healed in Isaiah 53:5. We know that God cares about every part of your body and He invites us to bring our anxieties to Him, for it is written, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God in Philippians 4:6.
We want to encourage you with practical wisdom as well as prayer. Our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit as taught in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, so we are called to steward them well. While we pray for healing, we also encourage you to seek wisdom for prevention and care. Stay hydrated, rest your voice when it is sore, avoid smoke or other irritants, and consider speaking with a trusted medical professional if the soreness continues or worsens, for the Lord often gives wisdom and skill to physicians and we can ask Him for discernment. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding in Proverbs 3:5-6.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share why His name is so essential. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that we are saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me in John 14:6. And it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved in Romans 10:9. We encourage you to put your trust in Jesus for both healing and eternal life, and to come to God in His name.
We now pray together for you.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son and we lift up this dear one who is suffering with throat pain and soreness. You know the cause even when we do not, and You see every irritation and inflammation. We ask for Your healing touch upon this throat, to soothe the soreness, reduce any inflammation, and restore health and comfort. Grant wisdom to understand what may be causing this and how to prevent it, and guide to the right help and counsel if needed. Give peace to this heart and remove fear and worry, and let Your healing power and Your comfort be felt. We ask that You draw this dear one closer to You through Jesus, and that Your will be done in this body for Your glory. We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Healer, amen.

We hear how wearing this has been, hurting and not knowing why or how to keep it from coming back. That uncertainty can leave you feeling frustrated and on edge, wondering what you might be doing wrong when you simply don't have answers yet.
We want you to know we care about this with you, and we are praying for you. This kind of ongoing discomfort matters, and God sees both the physical soreness and the worry it brings.
Since the soreness keeps returning and the cause is unclear, we gently encourage you to reach out to your primary care provider or clinic in the next day or two, alongside prayer, so they can listen to your history, examine you, and help you understand what may be going on. If pain worsens or you develop fever, trouble breathing or swallowing, please seek care more promptly.
You don't have to figure this out alone, and reaching out for that kind of help is a wise and good step.
Father, we lift our friend to You right now. You know this throat pain and the questions that come with it. We ask for Your comfort and healing, for guidance for any clinician they see, and for peace as they wait for answers. Draw near and give rest and reassurance in Your care. In Jesus' name, amen.

Beloved of All
Your cry concerning your sore and hurting throat has been heard and has been carried to the throne of grace, and I join my prayer with yours that the Lord who heals all our diseases would lay His hand upon you.
We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they soon urge us to seek a physician for our healing. It is right and wise that you should do so. Tell the case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor, for He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. Make a confidant of Jesus, and at the same time, seek also the help of a skillful physician who may examine you and help you to find the cause which is yet hidden from you. Use the means which Providence provides, drink water, give rest to your voice, and keep from all that irritates the throat, while you look above the means to the Lord Himself.
Remember that there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The Scripture says, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His very touch has virtue in it. When the Sun of Righteousness rises upon His people there is healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are one in His hand. He healed the sick of the palsy and said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee, to show that He heals the whole man, body and soul.
Therefore I pray for you that the Lord would forgive your sins through the blood of Christ and heal your body according to His perfect will. May He who feeds the sparrows furnish you with what you need, ease your pain, cool the soreness, and restore your throat to soundness. May the healing virtue which His grace infuses work in you health and cure till you are made whole. If it be His will to keep you a little while in this trial, may He give you patience and teach you to trust Him more fully, for He cares for you.
Let us pray together. O Lord Jesus, great Physician of soul and body, look upon this suffering one whose throat is sore and whose cause is unknown. Thou knowest what we know not. Put forth Thy hand and heal. Let Thy healing leaves be applied to this need, and let Thy mercy be made known in a body restored and a heart at rest in Thee. Give wisdom to those who may give counsel, and give peace to this troubled spirit, that whether in healing or in patient waiting, Thou mayest be glorified. In Thy tender name we ask it. Amen.
