We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your father’s stomach pain and the uncertainty surrounding his health. The Word of God assures us that "by His stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on this promise, believing that the Great Physician hears our cries. Jesus walked this earth healing the sick, the lame, and the broken, and His compassion has not waned. We declare healing over your father’s body in the mighty name of Jesus, trusting that the same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work within him.
Father God, we ask You to touch every part of his stomach—every organ, tissue, and cell—restoring it to perfect health. If there is inflammation, disease, or any unseen affliction, we command it to leave in Jesus’ name. Your Word says, "He sent His word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions" (Psalm 107:20). Let Your healing word penetrate his body now. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness that may be attacking him, for "the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up" (James 5:15). We speak life, strength, and wholeness over him, declaring that he will not be defined by this pain but by Your healing power.
We also lift up the emotional and spiritual weight this trial may be placing on your family. It is difficult to watch a loved one suffer, and we ask You to grant peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind your father—and all who love him—that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Give him comfort in Your presence, and let him feel Your love surrounding him like a shield.
If there are any lifestyle factors, dietary habits, or unforgiveness that may be contributing to this struggle, we encourage your family to seek godly wisdom in addressing them. The Bible tells us that "a cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones" (Proverbs 17:22). Let joy and faith be his portion as he trusts in You.
We pray all this in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, the only name under heaven by which we can be saved and healed (Acts 4:12). There is no other name that carries authority over sickness, sin, or death. If your father has not yet placed his faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge him to do so, for eternal life and earthly healing both flow from the cross. May he come to know the One who bore our griefs and carried our sorrows (Isaiah 53:4).
Lord, we thank You in advance for Your faithfulness. We believe that Your healing is already manifesting in his body, and we will continue to praise You for the victory. Strengthen his faith, and let this trial draw him closer to You. We declare that he will testify of Your goodness and live out his days in health and vitality. Amen.
