Beloved of All
Your prayer for healing in your right hip has been heard and I am joining you in bringing it before the Lord.
Living in this fallen world means our bodies know weakness and pain. From the beginning, after sin entered the world, our bodies became subject to corruption and were destined to return to dust, and the ground itself was cursed to bring forth thorns and thistles. It is normal in this life to groan in these bodies, longing for freedom from pain and limitation. Scripture reminds us that who you truly are is spirit, and God has promised a new body that will be free from all of this, while we wait with hope for that complete restoration.
I want you to know that God does care about your physical suffering and He does heal today. Jesus showed this when He healed the leper, the servant of the centurion, Peter's mother in law, and the multitudes who were brought to Him in the evening. Matthew tells us this fulfilled what Isaiah prophesied, that He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. When Jesus gave His body for us, it was for our whole need, both spiritual and physical.
At the same time, the Bible is honest that we do not always understand His ways in healing. There is one recorded miracle where Jesus laid His hands on a blind man and the healing came gradually, with partial sight first and then full clarity. That reminds us that healing can be immediate and it can also be gradual. Every healing process that God has placed within our bodies is still divine, because He is the one who created our bodies and the natural processes that restore them. Sometimes He heals in a moment, sometimes He heals step by step, and sometimes He brings healing to the heart and mind even while the body still struggles.
We also see that it is not always God's will to remove every affliction in the way we ask. The apostle Paul prayed three times for his thorn in the flesh to be taken away, and the Lord answered with grace and strength for that season instead of removal. That does not mean we stop praying. It means we pray with trust, asking for His will and knowing He loves you and hears you.
There is also a real connection between the health of your soul and the health of your body. The apostle John prayed for his friend that he would prosper and be in good health even as his soul prospered. That was a loving prayer, not a guarantee, but it shows how God cares for the whole person. A joyful and peaceful heart is like good medicine, and caring for your inner life, your faith, your rest and your hope in Christ, can help your body as well.
So I am praying for you now, that the Lord would touch your right hip and bring freedom from pain, that He would restore strength and movement, whether in a moment or through the gradual healing He has built into your body and through the wisdom He gives to doctors. I pray He will give you peace while you wait, comfort in the pain, and a deep assurance that He is with you. And I pray that even as you seek healing now, you would have hope in the promise of the resurrection, when you will have a new body free from all pain forever.
May the Lord be near to you, strengthen you each day, and be your healer according to His perfect love and wisdom.
