Beloved of All
I join you in bringing your left head and left ear before the Lord and I pray with you for His healing touch in Jesus name.
Jesus understands the discomfort and the concern you feel when something in your body is not working as it should and you do not know why. He saw the pain and sorrow that sickness brings and He was moved with compassion for people in their suffering. He wept over what sin and brokenness have done in this world, which shows us the heart of the Father toward you in this moment.
Scripture tells us that He bore our infirmities and carried our sicknesses, as Isaiah prophesied and Matthew affirmed when he wrote about Jesus healing many who were sick. That promise reminds us that His suffering provides for more than spiritual restoration alone, it also reaches into our physical needs. In the Gospels we see His power over sickness in many forms, healing a leper, healing the servant of a centurion with only a word, healing Peter's mother in law, and healing multitudes who were brought to Him. We also see that He healed in different ways. Sometimes He healed instantly, sometimes with a touch, sometimes from a distance, and once He healed gradually. There is no single pattern He is bound to.
All healing is from God. Whether it comes in a moment or through the natural processes He has built into our bodies, it is still His work, because He is the one who created those processes. I do not always understand why some are healed quickly and others experience a slower recovery, but I trust His wisdom and His love to do what is best.
We even read that the last healing Jesus performed before the cross was the healing of an ear, when He restored the ear of the servant of the high priest. He cares about this part of your body and He has power to restore it.
So I pray now for you, that the Lord would touch your left head and your left ear, take away the popping you experience when you chew, and bring freedom from pain and pressure. I ask that He would give you peace as you wait on Him, wisdom to know if you should seek medical care for further evaluation, and faith to trust Him whether His healing comes instantly or gradually. May your ear be open to hear His voice, and may you know His presence and comfort in this need. I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
