Heal My Eyes

Lord, you know I'm worried about my eyes. I'm too scared to even go for the check-up. I know there's very little chance of my lens power increasing, but I'm still scared. Lord you know I can't afford new glasses right now. The kind of lenses I have are quite expensive. Please Lord, let everything be alright. Let my lens power not increase so that I can continue with my current pairs of glasses. I'm just too worried about this right now. Please heal my eyes.

James 5:14-16 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.

I give it all to Your holy hands Lord.

I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit.
