We join with you in lifting up your request for healing, strength, and wisdom, and we praise God with you for the blessing of another year of life. It is wonderful to see you calling upon the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and by which we are saved. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your faith in approaching the throne of grace through Jesus is a testament to your trust in Him, and we rejoice with you in that.
You have claimed the promise from Jeremiah 30:17, and we stand with you in declaring it: *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,"* says Yahweh. This is a powerful reminder of God’s desire to bring restoration and wholeness to His children. We also remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 7:7-8, where He assures us, *"Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."* You have come before the Lord with a heart of faith, knocking and asking for His healing touch, and we believe He hears you.
Yet, as we pray for your physical healing, we also encourage you to examine your heart and life to ensure there is nothing hindering your relationship with the Lord. Scripture reminds us in Psalm 66:18, *"If I cherished sin in my heart, the Lord wouldn’t have listened."* We are not suggesting you are in sin, but it is always wise to invite the Holy Spirit to search our hearts and reveal anything that may need repentance or surrender. Additionally, we are called to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33), trusting that as we align our lives with His will, He will provide all that we need—including healing, strength, and wisdom.
We also want to encourage you to couple your prayers with action where possible. While we trust in God’s miraculous power to heal, we are also called to be good stewards of the bodies He has given us. This may include seeking wise medical counsel, engaging in physical therapy or exercises that strengthen your legs and knees, and maintaining a diet that supports healing and energy. Proverbs 3:5-8 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil. It will be health to your body, and strength to your bones."*
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks Your healing touch. Lord, You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals, and we ask that You stretch forth Your hand to restore health to their legs and knees. Remove every infection, every trace of inflammation, and repair all damaged muscles, tendons, ligaments, cartilage, and bones. Let Your healing power flow through their body, renewing and strengthening every part so they may walk with ease and without pain.
We pray for wisdom, Lord—wisdom to know how to care for their body, to seek the right treatments, and to make choices that honor the temple You have given them. Grant them energy and vitality, that they may serve You with joy and fulfill the purposes You have for their life. We thank You for the gift of another year of life, and we ask that You fill their days ahead with Your peace, Your presence, and Your provision.
Father, if there is any area of their life that needs surrender or repentance, reveal it to them by Your Holy Spirit. Help them to walk closely with You, seeking first Your Kingdom and trusting in Your goodness. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are working all things together for their good, even in this season of waiting and trusting.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness that may be at work, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command healing and restoration to manifest in their body, for Your glory and their well-being.
Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. Thank You for Your love and faithfulness. We trust in You, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we ask or think. May Your will be done in their life, and may they walk in the fullness of Your blessing.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
