We come before the throne of grace with you, lifting up your heart’s cry for forgiveness, healing, and deliverance from the bondage of pornography. The struggle you face is one that many battle, but we want you to know that freedom *is* possible through the power of Jesus Christ. The Word of God declares in 1 Corinthians 10:13, *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure."* You are not alone in this fight, and God has already provided a way out for you.
Pornography is a snare of the enemy, designed to distort God’s beautiful design for intimacy, which is meant to be cherished within the covenant of marriage between a man and a woman (Hebrews 13:4). It defiles the temple of the Holy Spirit, which is your body (1 Corinthians 6:18-20), and creates strongholds that can feel impossible to break. But take heart—Jesus came to *"proclaim release to the captives... and to set at liberty those who are oppressed"* (Luke 4:18). Your confession is the first step toward victory, for *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9).
However, we must address something critical: your prayer did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is *only* through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). True repentance and healing come when we surrender our struggles to Jesus, acknowledging Him as Lord. If you have not yet placed your faith in Christ alone for salvation, we urge you to do so now. Believe in your heart that *"God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16).
