We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this burden of fear that weighs so heavily. Fear is not from God—it is a tool of the enemy to steal, kill, and destroy the peace and joy that Christ died to give. The Word tells us, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). This fear you’re carrying is not your portion, and we stand in agreement with you to break its grip in the mighty name of Jesus.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and torment that has taken root in your life. The Lord has not given you a spirit of fear, but He has given you His perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18 WEB). We declare that you are covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). The enemy may try to whisper lies of doubt, insecurity, or dread, but we command those lies to be silenced in Jesus’ name. You are a child of the Most High God, and He has not destined you for wrath but for salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thessalonians 5:9 WEB).
We pray that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Let the truth of God’s Word be your anchor—He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB). When fear rises, we declare that you will stand on the promises of God, knowing that He is faithful and will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5 WEB).
Father, we ask You to fill this dear one with Your Holy Spirit, reminding them of Your constant presence. Let them walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You are in control. Replace every lie of the enemy with Your truth. Heal their mind, body, and spirit from the effects of fear, and let them rise up in the authority You have given them as a believer. We break every chain of fear in Jesus’ name and declare freedom, joy, and boldness to take its place.
We encourage you to meditate on Scripture, for faith comes by hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17 WEB). Speak God’s promises aloud over your life, and do not give fear a foothold. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you and remind you of God’s faithfulness. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He has already won the victory.
Lord, we thank You that You are a healer of hearts and minds. We trust You to remove every trace of fear and replace it with Your perfect peace. Strengthen this one to walk in faith, knowing that You are with them every step of the way. In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
