We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear brother who is enduring illness and physical struggle. The Word of God assures us that by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on this promise today. Father, we ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand upon him, touching every part of his body that is afflicted. You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You (Jeremiah 32:17). We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and sickness in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is written that the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise them up (James 5:15).
Lord, we also ask that You strengthen his faith and trust in You during this trial. Remind him that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18). Let him feel Your presence and peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Surround him with Your love and the support of fellow believers who can uplift him in prayer and encouragement.
We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we speak life and restoration over his body. May he experience Your healing power in every cell, organ, and system, and may his testimony bring glory to Your name. We pray this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or healed (Acts 4:12). Amen.
If this brother has not yet placed his trust in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, we urge him to do so now. Salvation is found in no one else, and it is the first step toward experiencing the fullness of God’s promises, including healing and wholeness. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." We encourage him to confess his sins, repent, and invite Jesus into his heart today. If he has already done so, we pray that his faith would grow stronger as he waits on the Lord.
