We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of faith, lifting up this concern about the skin lump. We believe in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, who healed the sick, made the lame walk, and even raised the dead. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and His healing power is still at work in the lives of those who trust in Him.
First, we want to acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and can boldly approach His throne of grace. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We are so grateful for the gift of salvation and the privilege to come before God in prayer, knowing that He hears us and cares for our every need.
Now, we stand in agreement with this prayer for healing and freedom from this skin lump. We rebuke this affliction in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is written in Luke 10:19, "Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you." We declare that this lump has no power over the body, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We pray that You, Lord, would touch this area with Your healing hand. Dissolve this lump, O God, and restore health and wholeness to the body. We trust in Your promise from Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We believe that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that healing now in the name of Jesus Christ.
Father, we ask that You would also grant wisdom and discernment to seek appropriate medical advice if needed, for You have given wisdom to those who practice medicine. We pray for the doctors and healthcare providers who may be involved, that they would be guided by Your hand and provide the best care possible.
We also pray for peace and comfort for the mind and spirit during this time. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard the heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Help to cast all anxieties on You, Lord, for You care deeply (1 Peter 5:7).
Lastly, we give You all the glory, honor, and praise for the healing that is already taking place. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. May this testimony of healing bring glory to Your name and draw others closer to You.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
