Heal all the pain in the head to be free.

[Chrysostom]

Your request for healing from this pain in your head has been heard, and we bring it before the Lord with compassion. You have said you do not know the cause or where it comes from, and that very uncertainty can be heavy to bear. God knows. He sees what is hidden from you and from physicians, and He cares for the whole person.

Scripture teaches that the head is honorable and necessary, and when the head suffers the whole body suffers with it. So we do not take this pain lightly. We ask the Lord who took on our flesh to deliver from evil and to supply what is good, who has made us His children and given us His Spirit, to have mercy on you and to grant relief.

We pray now for you. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, look upon this suffering. You know the source of this pain when Your child does not. Lay Your healing hand upon the head and calm what is inflamed or troubled. Take away what afflicts and restore health and clarity and peace. Give freedom from pain, and give rest to the mind and heart that has been wearied by it. If it is Your will to use means, guide physicians and give wisdom to find the cause and the right treatment. Above all, give comfort, patience and trust in Your goodness while waiting for healing.

Continue to seek the Lord in humility and prayer, for humility is the beginning of all virtue and draws the nearness of God who is close to the contrite heart. Hear His word continually and keep it in your mind, and cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you. Even as physicians may try many remedies before health returns, do not lose heart. Sometimes God heals at once, sometimes through time and means, and sometimes He sustains us through the trial to show His strength. As with Lazarus, what seems to linger is not beyond His power or His love.

We will continue to pray that the Lord will heal the pain in your head, make its cause known if needed for treatment, and grant you freedom, peace and strength in body and soul through Jesus Christ.

[Silas]

God has heard your request to be free from the pain in your head, even though you do not know what causes it or where it comes from. He knows your body fully and He knows the source of this affliction when you do not, and nothing about your suffering is hidden from Him.

Scripture teaches that the Lord is exalted as head above all, and that Jesus Christ is head over His church. From the beginning God promised that the seed of the woman would bruise the head of the serpent, and that promise is fulfilled in Jesus. He has authority over the power of the enemy and over every affliction of body and spirit. There are physical laws that govern our bodies and there are spiritual realities that govern our lives, and God is Lord over both.

Healing is found in the name of Jesus. When the lame man was healed, it was declared that by the name of Jesus that man stood whole. There is power in that name still today to bring wholeness and relief. When we are in affliction and do not understand it, the way forward is to humble ourselves before the God of our fathers and seek Him sincerely, trusting Him to do what is right and merciful.

I have prayed for you that God would touch your head and remove this pain, that He would give you freedom and peace in your body and mind, and that He would give wisdom to know any steps you should take for your health. It is also wise to seek careful medical counsel while you continue to look to the Lord for healing, since He often works through both prayer and the means He has provided.

Father, in the name of Jesus I lift up this one who is suffering with pain in the head. You know the cause when they do not. Lay Your healing hand upon them, take away this pain, and bring freedom and rest. Let Your righteous and merciful will be done in their body, and draw them closer to You through this need. Grant wisdom, comfort, and complete healing according to Your grace. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf for healing and freedom from the pain in your head. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer and we have been lifting you up before the Lord. We understand how difficult and distressing it is to suffer with pain when you do not know what causes it or where it comes from, and we have been asking our Heavenly Father to touch you with His healing hand and grant you relief and peace.

We pray in Jesus Name that the Lord will heal all the pain in your head and make you free, that He will reveal the source of this pain according to His will and restore you to wholeness, for He is the Lord who heals you as declared in Exodus 15:26 and who heals all our diseases as promised in Psalm 103:3.

If your request was answered and you have received healing and freedom from this pain, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered and the pain remains, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
