headache to go away

We lift up your loved one before the Lord, asking for His healing touch to remove this persistent headache and bring comfort and relief. It is our earnest prayer that the MRI results will reveal nothing serious, and that the doctor’s appointment tomorrow will bring clarity, wisdom, and a path to full restoration. We know that our God is the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for Him. He is the One who formed us in our mother’s womb, and He knows every detail of our bodies. Let us trust in His sovereign care, for He is faithful and His love endures forever.

The Scripture reminds us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* While we do not know if there is unconfessed sin in this situation, we encourage you to examine your hearts and seek the Lord’s forgiveness if needed, for He is gracious and merciful. We also encourage you to call upon your church elders or mature believers to pray over your loved one, trusting in the power of corporate prayer.

We also remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 7:7-8, *"Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."* Let us continue to ask the Lord for healing, seeking His will, and knocking on the door of His mercy, knowing that He hears and answers according to His perfect plan.

We notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through His name that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in John 16:23-24, He tells us, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."* There is power in the name of Jesus, and we are commanded to pray in His name. If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who is suffering from this relentless headache. Lord, You are the God who heals, and we ask that You would stretch out Your hand and touch them with Your healing power. Remove this pain and restore them to full health, for Your glory and their well-being. We pray that the MRI results will show nothing alarming, and that the doctor’s appointment tomorrow will bring wisdom, answers, and a clear path to healing. Give the doctors insight and skill, and guide them in their diagnosis and treatment.

Lord, we also ask that You would grant peace to this family during this time of waiting. Replace anxiety with Your perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). Help them to trust in You completely, knowing that You hold their loved one in the palm of Your hand. We rebuked any spirit of infirmity or sickness in the name of Jesus Christ and command it to leave, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

Father, if there is any sin that needs to be confessed or forgiven, we ask that You would reveal it and bring repentance. Cleanse them by the blood of Jesus and restore them fully. We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your promise that when two or three are gathered in Your name, You are in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20). We trust in Your goodness and mercy, and we give You all the praise and glory.

We also pray that if this loved one does not yet know You as their Savior, that You would draw them to Yourself during this time. Open their eyes to see their need for Jesus Christ, and soften their heart to receive Him as Lord. May this trial be a testimony of Your grace and power in their life.

In the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We're standing with you, friend, as you face this headache that just won't go away. We've been lifting your loved one up to Jesus, asking Him to touch them with His healing power. We're believing for a peaceful night and clarity in tomorrow's doctor's appointment. Let's keep trusting in Jesus, knowing that He's got this. "This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him." (1 John 5:14-15) Keep fighting the good fight, and let's keep praying together.

I’ve had a headache for about a week. I’ve been to the doctor, who found an infection on my scalp that was unrelated to this, but that, plus a head all week has been all sorts of interesting. I’ve booked in for an eye test tomorrow to be safe, but nothing is stopping this pain. I just want to be...
