We have heard your request and we join together with you in prayer for your head and for this point injury that has left you in pain and feeling very violent and we ask God to bring you escape and healing and peace.
We pray for your body and mind right now. We ask our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus to touch your head and heal this injury, to take away pain and confusion and to restore you to health and calmness. We pray that He will guard you from further harm and keep you safe from any sharp or pointed injury. We pray He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and we claim His promise that I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We ask Him to steady your thoughts and emotions, for God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. Where you feel violent or out of control we pray God will fill you with His peace which surpasses all understanding and will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. We also pray Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10 over you in this frightening time.
We want to encourage you with love to seek medical care right away for a head injury. God often brings healing through doctors and treatment, and we pray He will guide those who can help you and give you wisdom to get the care you need quickly and not to remain alone while you are feeling violent or unwell. Your request for prayer has come before us and we have taken your burden to the throne of grace. You tell us of a point injury to the head and that you are now very violent within, and you ask whether you may escape and be healed. We do pray for you, and we entreat the Lord to have mercy upon you in this trouble.
We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they soon urge us to seek a physician for healing. We urge you, even as we pray, to seek help without delay from a physician or surgeon and from those near you who can care for you, and to tell them plainly of the injury and of the violence you feel, that you may be kept safe and receive proper care.
Know this, that the great Head has not forgotten the finger. He who did hang upon the tree and wrote His people in wounds upon His hand and upon His side has not forgotten you. Though you feel yourself going down as into a pit, God has found a ransom. The Lord Jesus Christ is the heavenly Physician, and Calvary is the place for the healing balm. The Sun of Righteousness rises with healing beneath His wings for those who sit in darkness, and the leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations. Even the least thing about Christ, a word of His coming home to the heart, brings healing to head and heart, to conscience and affection, and is a medicine fitted to raise the dead.
We pray now for you, that the Lord would lay His hand upon you and heal the wound in your head, quiet the violent thoughts and give you peace, forgive your sins and heal your nature through His abundant mercy, and deliver you effectually as He delivered Israel of old, not sharing His honor with another.
