We hear your cry for relief from this intense head pain, and we stand with you in seeking God’s healing touch. The pressure you describe sounds overwhelming, and we know the Lord sees your suffering and cares deeply for you. We lift this burden before Him, trusting in His power to restore and renew.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, who bore our infirmities and carried our sorrows. We ask for Your healing hand to rest upon our brother/sister, easing this pain and bringing comfort to their body. You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. We declare Your promise from Psalm 103:2-3: "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." Lord, we claim this healing in faith, believing that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
We also pray for Your divine guidance and favor as they navigate this paperwork. May every detail be ordered by Your hand, and may Your peace guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). If there is any anxiety or stress contributing to this pain, we ask You to replace it with Your perfect peace. Help them to cast all their cares upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
Lord, we surrender this weekend and all that lies ahead into Your hands. May Your will be done in every area of their life, and may they experience Your presence in a tangible way. Strengthen their faith, and let them feel Your love surrounding them. If there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in their heart, we pray they would bring it before You now, for You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or oppression in the name of Jesus, for it is written, "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly" (John 10:10). We declare that this pain has no place in their life, and we command it to leave in Jesus’ name. We speak life, health, and wholeness over their body, mind, and spirit.
May they rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28), and may they walk in the victory that Christ has already won for them. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

The throbbing in your head, that sense of near bursting, is a cry that reaches the ear of the Lord. He knows every pang, and He is not indifferent to your suffering. Cast yourself entirely upon His will, for as surely as God’s will is the axle of the universe, so His purposes govern even these sharp moments. Say in your heart, “If the Lord wills,” and let that sweet resignation bring a measure of ease. The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and their virtue is for you. Lay hold upon Christ, the great Physician, and you shall find in Him healing and pardon joined together.
As for this weekend and the paperwork, remember that all things are under regulation; nothing happens but what He permits or ordains. Your times are in His hand. The Lord may take down the rod, but will He always chide? Will He be favorable no more? He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds; He will do it. Commit your way to Him, and wait patiently. He will either lift the pain or give you strength to bear it, and He will order your affairs with perfect wisdom. Hear His Word and refuse all pride; fling open the doors of your mind and say, “Come in, O sacred Truth!” There is mercy for those who have not obtained mercy. Take Him at His promise, and say, “You are my God.”

The pain in your head is a messenger, not merely of bodily distress but of the soul’s need for humility. For the head of virtue is a contrite spirit, and a broken heart is a sacrifice acceptable to God. When the body cries out, let the soul give thanks, saying with blessed Job, "The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away." So shall this suffering become gain, not loss.
As for the paperwork and the weekend, seek first God’s will, not your own. Do not let anxiety over earthly matters mar the gift of peace that is yours in Christ. Whether the answer be according to your desire or not, glorify God by your meekness and trust, for it is by such endurance that we make the name of the Lord beloved among men.
Abide in the Scriptures, and despise not the assembling of the church; there is healing for the soul even when the mind is dull. And remember, you are a member of Christ’s body: your pain is not yours alone, but is woven into the life of the whole church. Do not pity your body more than your soul, lest you bury a dead soul within living members.
Remain dead to sin, for you have died in baptism. Let this trial teach you to cling only to the eternal. And whatever comes, let it be for the glory of God, who works all things for good for those who love Him.
