We join with you in prayer together in Jesus' name and we hear the burden on your heart for yourself, your family, and even your pets, and for protection from evil and for healing and understanding and for your future home and marriage.

We take comfort in Deuteronomy 28:13 where it is written, Yahweh will make you the head, and not the tail. You will be above only, and you will not be beneath, if you listen to the commandments of Yahweh your God, which we command you today, to observe and to do them. This promise is tied to walking in obedience and trust before Him, not to our own power to speak things into existence, but to His sovereign power and goodness. We are not God, and no person can act like God to harm the innocent, for there is one God and His will alone stands. As it is written, I am Yahweh, and there is no other. Besides me, there is no God, Isaiah 45:5, and Vengeance is mine, says the Lord, I will repay, Romans 12:19. We do not need to carry fear that others have power over us to hurt us or to steal what God has given, for we rest in His hand.

We also hear your concern about hearing that humans are being thrown off the earth and the distress it has caused you, and your watering eyes and your backbone and your soul and the souls of your family and pets. We want to gently remind you that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly, John 10:10. We are called to submit ourselves therefore to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you, James 4:7, and to be sober and watchful because your adversary the devil walks around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour, but we resist him steadfast in faith, 1 Peter 5:8-9. We do not rebuke in our own strength, but we stand in the authority and the blood of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved and by which we have access to the Father, Acts 4:12 and John 14:6.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You that You are our protector, our healer, and our provider. We ask that You cover this dear one, their family, and their pets under Your wings, for he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, Psalm 91:1. We ask that You command Your angels concerning them to guard them in all their ways, Psalm 91:11. We pray that no weapon formed against them will prosper and that every evil intent and every thief that comes to steal what You have entrusted to Your children would be turned away, and what has been taken would be restored according to Your justice and mercy. We pray that You heal their eyes that have been watering for hours, for You open the eyes of the blind, Psalm 146:8, and that You heal their backbone and their soul and the eyes and souls of their family and pets, for You heal the broken in heart and bind up their wounds, Psalm 147:3, and by Your wounds we are healed, Isaiah 53:5. We pray that You grant them understanding and clarity, for if any lacks wisdom let them ask of God who gives liberally, James 1:5, and that they may trust in Yahweh with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding, Proverbs 3:5-6. We pray that You fulfill Your good will for their calling, their home, and their future marriage, that You would provide a godly marriage that honors You, for marriage is honorable among all, Hebrews 13:4, and is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman as You designed from the beginning, Genesis 2:24 and Mark 10:6-9. We pray for a loving family and for a mother-in-law who loves and supports and remains, that all relationships would be built on love, honor, and green pastures of peace. We pray that all needs would be met according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19, and that they would seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, Matthew 6:33. Let Your perfect peace guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7, and let them know they are well, thriving, and held in Your will today and permanently by Your grace. We declare that they are not alone and not forsaken, for You have said I will never leave you nor forsake you, Hebrews 13:5. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring every worry and every hope to the Lord in prayer rather than trying to carry the weight of speaking reality into existence by your own words, for we walk by faith and trust that God hears and answers according to His perfect will, Romans 8:28. Keep dwelling in His Word daily, obeying His commands, and resting in the blood of Jesus for protection and forgiveness. A righteous man regards the life of his animal, Proverbs 12:10, and how much more does your Father care for you and your loved ones. If your eyes continue to water or cause pain, we encourage you to also seek care with wisdom and let the Lord work through practical help as well.

We stand with you for clear understanding, for healing greatly, for provision for a home, for a godly marriage rooted in Christ, and for joy for you, your family, and your pets in the light and beauty the Lord gives.

Your prayer has come before us laden with many cares, and I have heard the trembling in it, the longing for protection over yourself and your family and even your pets, the desire for health in body and soul, for eyes that water and a backbone that aches, for a home and a godly marriage, and the fear that evil powers might harm those you love.

Be comforted in this, that nothing lies outside the fence of Omnipotent overruling. If this evil came apart from Divine permission, where should we be, but when we find that all our ills lie within the sacred zone of Providential government, there is hope. The Lord has chastened us sorely at times, but He has not given us over unto death. He creates that He may display His own perfections, and He delights to exalt the low tree and to make the dry tree flourish by Divine grace. Joseph in the dungeon, Israel in Egypt, Hannah in her sorrow, David when overlooked, all prove that God lifts up those who are bowed down.

You have laid hold upon that word in Deuteronomy, that the Lord would make you the head and not the tail. Remember that this promise was given to an obedient people under the covenant, and its full truth is found in Christ. To be the head is not won by repeating words as a charm, nor by speaking life into existence as though our phrases had power in themselves. Knowledge of God is a divine armor by which we ward off the blows of the enemy, but the power is His, not ours. Deliverance is by Divine power alone. When Israel came out of Egypt it was Jehovah who brought forth His armies, and when any soul is saved from spiritual bondage it is the Lord Jesus who loosens the captive. He has found a ransom, and that ransom is Himself. There we rest, not in formulas, but in Free Grace.

You fear Satan and those who act like Satan, and you cry, get back. This is right to abhor evil, yet our buckler against the fiery dart is this, that God never has forsaken them that fear Him, and moreover He never will do so. His grace shall to the end, stronger and brighter shine, and neither present things nor things to come shall quench the spark divine within the heart, much less quench the fire which burns in His infinite breast. Resist the devil in the name of Christ, and rest in the blood of Jesus, for pardon and healing are joined together. When the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, He says, your sins are forgiven you, and healing and forgiveness become one. Even the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, which teaches us that the least thing about Christ is healing, and that God takes care of the little things, the trifles of Believers. He cares for your tears, for your eyes that have watered for hours, for your family, and for the living creatures He has entrusted to you.

Therefore I would pray for you after this manner. O Lord, Thou hast seen this troubled heart, variable in experience, now bowed and heavy in soul, whose sore runs in the night. Thou knowest the desire for understanding, for a calling fulfilled, for a home established in holiness, for a marriage that is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman according to Thy creation ordinance, kept pure and honourable, and for kindred who love Thee and love what Thou lovest. Grant, if it be Thy will, such a godly union and such a household, and keep all sexual intimacy and all dwelling together within that covenant alone, to Thy glory. Provide what is needed, heal the eyes and the soul, heal the backbone and the spirit, heal the family and keep them. Let this dear one see and hear with true understanding, not through fear or fancy, but through Thy Word and Thy Spirit. Deliver from cruel captivity by Thine own hand and outstretched arm, and let it be said, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.

Cast your griefs not to the pitiless sea nor to the winds, but to the living God whose ear is open. If your eyes continue to trouble you, seek also the help of those skilled in healing, while you look above all to Him who is the great conduit Head from whom abundant streams of healing flow down to men below. And may you, after trouble and deliverance, sit upon the Rock of Ages above the waves, and joyfully sing praises unto your Divine Deliverer, declaring what He has done for your soul.
