We hear your heart in this and we are praying with you together in Jesus' name for God's peace, provision, and restoration to come into every area of your life that feels unstable and heavy right now.

We understand you are claiming Deut 28:13 where it says Yahweh will make you the head, and not the tail, and you will be above only, and you will not be beneath, if you listen to the commandments of Yahweh your God which we command you today, to observe and to do them. We love that you want to cling to God's promises, and we want to gently remind you that this beautiful promise in Deut 28:1-2 was given to Israel with a condition, if you will diligently listen to Yahweh your God's voice. Being the head and not the tail is not about speaking something into existence or demanding comfort on our own terms, but about humbly walking in obedience to God and trusting Him to lift us up in His way and timing. We pray you will know that true elevation comes as we submit to Christ.

We also hear your desire for what you call green and your vape, and you have shared honestly that you believe it makes you happy, helps you sleep, lifts you up and helps with pain, especially while you have been without medication for bipolar, PTSD and other medical needs, and you feel the government has not helped you. We care deeply about your suffering and the pain, the trauma from the fire, the homelessness, the loss of belongings and chargers, the stress about housing and being able to care for your parents and your cats, and the longing to simply have a safe, private home where you can lock the door, be yourself, and have peace. The Lord sees all of this. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 61:2 says When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

Yet in love we must speak truth about the green you are seeking. We understand you feel it helps, but God's Word calls us to be sober minded and to find our joy, peace, sleep and relief in Him, not in a substance that alters the mind. Eph 5:18 says Don't be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit. 1 Peter 5:8 says Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 1 Cor 6:19-20 says Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. Gal 5:19-21 warns that sorcery, which includes the use of drugs to alter the mind, and drunkenness are works of the flesh that do not reflect the life God desires for us. True happiness and uplift does not come from green, but from the fruit of the Spirit which is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control in Gal 5:22-23. We pray God will be your comfort and your healer, and that He will provide godly medical care and wise counsel to help you steward your health, including your mental health, in a way that honors Him. 2 Tim 1:7 says For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. We encourage you to continue to seek proper medical help through a trusted doctor or clinic and a biblical community who can walk with you, and to be honest with them about your needs, rather than carrying this alone or relying on vitamins or costly supplements alone for what only God and proper care can provide.

We also hear the anger and hurt toward those you feel have bullied and terrorized you, and the frustration expressed in strong language. God understands righteous anger, but He calls us to release vengeance to Him and to use speech that builds up. Eph 4:29 says Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear. Rom 12:19 says Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. We pray God will defend you, bring swift justice as He wills, and fill your heart with forgiveness and peace that guards your mind.

You mentioned the blood of Jesus at the end of your request, and we thank God for that, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. It is because of His blood shed on the cross for our sins and His resurrection that we can come boldly to God for help, healing, and a sound mind.

So we pray together now.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift this dear one to You. Lord, You know the trauma, the fire, the loss of home, the missing belongings, the financial strain, the year without needed medication, the pain and sleepless nights, and the deep desire for safety and dignity. We ask You to provide a stable, affordable, clean and safe home where there is privacy, security, and the ability to care for family and pets with peace. Phil 4:19 says My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We ask You to supply needs, to restore what has been lost or stolen, and to give wisdom to steward what You provide. We pray for healing in body and mind, for Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus as promised in Phil 4:6-7. Teach us to be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let our requests be made known to God. Lord, deliver from dependence on any substance for joy or sleep, and fill this heart with Your Holy Spirit, with true joy and rest. Rom 12:2 says Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. Renew the mind, restore the spine, restore time and health, and help to control temper by Your power, not just by human effort. Give favor with doctors and helpers who will provide compassionate, affordable care. Protect from those who intend harm, and let Your justice and mercy prevail. Let this life be head and not tail by walking closely with You in obedience and trust. We thank You for small praise reports like restored access to watch with family, and we ask for greater restoration to come. Your cry has been heard, and the heaviness and unrest within it has been felt. There is much sorrow and weariness expressed in your words, the longing for a safe home where you may live in quietness and keep what is yours, the desire for sleep and relief from pain, the burden of feeling judged and without help, and the thankfulness you voiced for small mercies restored. We bring these burdens before the Lord with you, asking Him to have mercy and to draw near.

You have quoted the promise, Thou shalt be the head and not the tail, and have asked that it might be loosed over your life. That word in Deuteronomy was spoken to a people called to walk in obedience before the Lord, and its fulfillment is found not in our own claiming of it, but in being found in Christ, who is the great conduit Head from whom abundant streams of healing flow down to those below. To be kept as the head is to be kept near to Him, with the mind stayed upon Him. For it is written, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trusteth in Thee. It is the mind which is the main thing, it will bring you daylight or midnight, peace or war. And we have found that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits us to meet that difficulty. Peace, perfect peace, is not found in any outward supply, but in the blood of Jesus which whispers peace within.

We cannot ask God to bless or to provide that which would harm the body He has made or cloud the mind He would keep stayed upon Himself. The green you speak of, though you feel it lifts you and helps you to sleep and to forget pain, is not the healing your soul and body most need, and we cannot affirm it as good or ask the Lord to make a way for it. The Scriptures teach that the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and that the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, and even His leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. Pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction, and both are bestowed when we look to Him. When Jesus healed the sick He said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee. Pardon and healing were one. It is that touch of personal faith which brings peace to the soul. If you will not trust God, neither shall you have peace.

We do pray for your true healing. We ask the Lord Jesus, our heavenly Physician, to breathe into your soul at this very moment a peace with God which passes all understanding, which springs from perfect remission of sin through His stripes. For it is written, with His stripes we are healed. He can give what no plant and no vitamin can give, a renewed mind, a quiet heart, and rest even with sorrows surging round. We pray also for your bodily needs, that the Lord would guide you to faithful and proper help for the pain and for the burdens of mind you have carried so long without medicine. To spend much upon vitamins while going without needed care will not supply what the body and mind require. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, they soon urge us to seek a physician, and we ought not to neglect the means God has provided through wise physicians and counsel, while looking above all to the Great Physician Himself.

We pray for your daily provision and dwelling, that God in His mercy would provide for you a safe and quiet home where you may live with a locked door and keep your belongings in peace, where you may care for your cats and live without fear of those you feel pursue you, and where your parents also may be at peace. We pray that the fear and the sense of being terrorized and judged would be lifted, and that you would know the still small voice of God which alone confers the peace which passes all understanding. We pray that your belongings that are lost would be found or graciously restored, and that the Lord would guard your mind and your time and your body, for He is able to keep both you and your loved ones far away in His keeping.

We thank God with you for the small joy you have found again in being able to watch what you enjoy, and we take it as a token that He has not forgotten you. May you seek first the treasure which is better than gold, which is to be bought without money and without price, even Christ Himself. Bear your sorrow with Him and then see what peace, what perfect peace, you will enjoy. May the Lord renew your peace day by day, for He has endless, boundless peace within Himself, and when you have long enjoyed peace with Him you may go to Him again and say, Lord, renew my peace, I am troubled but Thou art unmoved, bless me with Thy peace.

We encourage you to stay under the hearing of the Word, for faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God, and healing is linked with teaching. Seek the Lord in prayer, confess your need of forgiveness through Jesus Christ alone, and ask Him to be your peace and your healer. Cast your care upon Him, for He careth for you.
