IF WE NEGLECT OUR HEART FOR GOD AND HIM WE DO NOT FOLLOW.

These are Jesus' words and I believe His point was that Israel and Jerusalem were more attentive to the Roman government than they were their religious heritage under God.

Similarly, our nation today is more attentive to the powers in Washington D.C. than they are in the spiritual heritage of Jesus which is the foundation of our "One Nation Under God" or, the premise of the forefathers,

"In God We Trust".

Let us open our hearts, be attentive with our ears, and see with visual acuity the seriousness of the problem our nation is facing and believe more in the foundation the United States was built upon than the alleged wisdom of this nation's leaders who blatantly ignore God and would do away with Christianity if they could.

God has His remnant still in this country and we need to call strongly upon the Lord to revive our people to return to Him as our Leader and source of all things good and holy.

"They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength".

Father, thank You for Your holy Word contained in the scriptures. Thank You for the freedoms we enjoy living in this nation, for being able to own and read a bible anywhere we choose without fear of harm or persecution. May we turn to Your Word more and more for the blueprint we need for our lives. I praise You that the bible can be our textbook, our history book and our reference book. Thank You for those who took the time to record all that it contains, for those You blessed who have interpreted it, and for Your Son, who brought it all into perspective. Give us new vision, acute hearing and eager hearts to do Your will. Guide and protect us as You show us our path. In Jesus' name, amen.

Lord, open our ears and let us hear what the Holy Spirit tells us. Let us see by the eyes of the Holy Spirit the things You want us to know. The halfbrothers of the Lord James and Jude had much to say about this. Jude tells us much about the latter days:

Amplified Version

17But you must remember, beloved, the predictions which were made by the apostles (the special messengers) of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

18They told you beforehand, In the last days (in the end time) there will be scoffers [who seek to gratify their own unholy desires], following after their own ungodly passions.

19It is these who are [agitators] setting up distinctions and causing divisions--merely sensual [creatures, carnal, worldly-minded people], devoid of the [Holy] Spirit and destitute of any higher spiritual life.

20But you, beloved, build yourselves up [founded] on your most holy faith [[d]make progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], praying in the Holy Spirit;

21Guard and keep yourselves in the love of God; expect and patiently wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah)--[which will bring you] unto life eternal.

22And refute [so as to] convict some who dispute with you, and on some have mercy who waver and doubt.

23[strive to] save others, snatching [them] out of [the] fire; on others take pity [but] with fear, loathing even the garment spotted by the flesh and polluted by their sensuality.(D)

24Now to Him Who is able to keep you without stumbling or slipping or falling, and to present [you] unblemished (blameless and faultless) before the presence of His glory in triumphant joy and exultation [with unspeakable, ecstatic delight]--

25To the one only God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory (splendor), majesty, might and dominion, and power and authority, before all time and now and forever (unto all the ages of eternity). Amen (so be it).

Dear Jesus please listen toour prayers concerning the people who govern us and make the decitions that affect millions of people. Bring them close to You Lord, open their eyes to Your word, to Your ways, Bless them Lord, touch their hearts and minds so they will feel the pain around them, so they will see that everytime they do something, people are hurt or affected by their actions. Dear Lord let Your justice prevail, show them the light,protec and guide them Dear Jesus, in You we trust.

Father God, bless us with wisdom, knowledge , eye to see and ears to hear, and an ability to stand and face all our fears . Open our eyes to the things that you are doing now . Show us how you want us to prepare. Father God you Keep your eye on your children. Instructed us in the path that you have laid out for each of us before the foundation of the world. Lord watch over us and protect and shelter us from the coming storm. Lord teach us listen and to hear your voice.
